Know More about this tour

Meet-up with your guide at midday and start the 1-hour trek to Kutna Hora's bone ossuary, one of the most well-known burial grounds in the world. This chapel is decorated with more than 40 000 human bones, which are arranged into a chandelier, a Schwarzenberg Coat-of-Arms, and numerous other decorative touches. Kutn Hora has been on the UNESCO list of cultural heritage sites since 1995.

But there is far more to see to this town than skeleton-made furniture. Kutn Hora was once the second richest city in the Kingdom of Bohemia, thanks to its medieval silver mining centre. The former wealth of the town is reflected today in the variety of architectural monuments and the preserved structure of the town centre. Our tour of Kutn Hora will take you to the Neo-Gothic St Barbaras Cathedral, through the streets of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque town houses and to visit a unique stone fountain from the 15th century.

Be transferred back to the meeting point on central Prague at tour's end.

Great experience, knowledgeable guide , had a lot of fun. At least 1 out of 3 tours bout through Viator was great.

Our guide did not plan properly the time we were there and we had to skip one of the attractions as we ran out of time and had to get back. Also, our mini van was very outdated, squeeky with the bumpy ride. When I booked this trip it said that it will be in English, but it had two different group of people and it had to be in Spanish and English. Felt like the guide did not cover much about that little town.

Guide was very weak. Gave basic information, nothing extra!!! We asked about things on the drive. He knew nothing. English was not as good as it should have been when all spoke English except for 3 on the tour. Would not recommend to a fried.

Quite a bit to fit in during a 1/2 day trip but our guide Aris did a wonderful job doing so. The bone chapel is a must see.

The star attraction is the "Bone" Church - a truly unique site with no equal worldwide. Guide Vaclav was knowledgeable and attentive to his guests leaving them enough free time to explore a cute Czech village 1 hour from Prague

  • 03-Jul-2019

This trip and the tour guides are average at every turn but the fact that they rushed us through the bone church with no time for souvenirs and barely enough time for decent photo ops is unforgivable.

We expected more at Kutna Hora, but that may be our fault for not reading up on it (the church).
It's a lovely village and we enjoyed a great pizza with beers in free time in one of the restaurants near the square.

Great trip. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable of the places we visited. Would definitely recommend.

  • 04-Jan-2019

This was a great daytrip for us and we enjoyed every second of it, the Guide did go on a little bit to long but he was commenting in two languages so maybe this was to be expected.

Excellent guided trip of kutna hora, starting off with the drive from Prague it was just over an hour but the guide was very knowledgeable in the history of Prague and the places we visited that day, The bone church is a fascinating sight to see it's eerily creepy but yet so fascinating, overall it's great value for money,
