Know More about this tour

There are two variables: THE PORTUGUESE WAY OF THE COAST and THE PORTUGUESE WAY CENTRAL to Santiago de Compostela.
The Camino de Santiago de Compostela is a different ride from all other MTB Tours, given that it is the Medieval Way to Santiago de Compostela, where we pedal for fantastic places with magnificent views and of great cultural and historical significance.
The level of difficulty of this tour requires participants in good physical shape and is a function of the number of days chosen. It will vary between Low for a choice of 6 days, Medium for 5 days and High for 3 days of travel. It will therefore be recommended for regular mountain bikers.
In this tour we make the way to Santiago de Compostela, a city located in the province of Galicia, northern Spain. It is a Mystical Way, full of positive energy, beliefs and faith. This way is traveled by thousands of pilgrims throughout each passing year and has been exponential the growth of users given the rare beauty and the friendly and welcoming way with which the people found in the Way offers the pilgrims. It is a pilgrimage route in use since the 9th century.
We can not say that there is only "one" Way ("camino") for Santiago de Compostela. There are several, where we highlight the Central and the Coast, because the idea is to reach the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
This path was originally traversed by devout pilgrims, people of the people, clergy and nobility; even today it is covered not only on foot but also by bicycle from people from all over the world and for various reasons.
The road is composed of single tracks, rural roads, roads, narrow streets and sidewalks, always in a straight line to be as short as possible to get to Santiago de Compostela. You will ride on a huge diversity of paths and pavements, always accompanied by an enormous diversity of landscapes and scenery.
It will start at the Cathedral of Porto, we will walk through the streets and alleys of the lower granitic city of Porto and we will say farewell to this beautiful capital city of Northern Portugal always along the coast until we reach the border with Spain. Then we continue along the "Medieval Path" until we reach Santiago de Compostela.
This route will make numerous tracks and paths, old Roman roads, dense forests, cross small stone bridges, cross paths and roads through houses, cross streams and mountains ...
Many sections of the original road have been paved, ... but it continues to maintain unique characteristics of the "Camino de Santiago de Compostela", making this event a unique case of walking and reflection! ...
