Turtles by Night
Watch sea turtles laying their eggs at the Ras al Jinz Nature Reserve, which allows visitors to witness this spectacle without disturbing the creatures. Of hundreds of hatchlings only a handful survive to return to this beach to lay their eggs. Thus the government has taken charge to protect this endangered species. Rangers will guide you to the nesting places of the animals. The turtle sanctuary combines an interactive museum with research laboratories and a range of amenities for visitors to learn about the wonders of these ancient creatures.
