  • This food making and wine tasting tour was terrific. Before the tour, they were very communicative in making sure we had transportation to the castle. We used their recommendation, a car service. I wouldn't try driving there yourself unless you give yourself extra time. From the beginning to the end, this whole package is very well orchestrated. The wine tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Chef was patient with us non chefs and gave us hands on experience. He taught us many cooking techniques. The pasta dish we had was the best I have ever made and tasted.

  • Great tour, learning about the history of the castle was very interesting and the cooking class was excellent! The meal we made was delicious and we really enjoyed learning about the locally produced wine and olive oil.

  • What a fantastic experience! Our guide nuomi was so passionate and knowledgable about the history of Castello, it was great to visit a castle that is still very much lived in. Our chef was a lot of fun, he made us all at ease in the kitchen, giving everyone the chance to take part! Highly recommend!

  • To anyone that is looking at this viator deal and contemplating...stop, just do it! It was by far one of the best experiences of my life and definitely one of the best things we did while in Italy for 2 weeks. Well worth the money! Both the tour guide and chef were fantastic!! We had a great time learning the history of the castle, the importance of preserving tradition when it comes to wine and olive oil making. Hands down, the best part of our trip. We kinda got lucky with a private showing, probably because it was off season and pretty cold but I'm sure it would've been just as incredible if there were a few other couples with us. I cannot wait to show off what we learned at our next dinner party! Thank you to for an incredible time, delicious wines that we ended up bringing back to the states and a fantastic cooking lesson.

  • This experience was the highlight of our Italy trip! The tour of the castle cellars was spectacular. The tour guide was knowledgeable and personable. The pasta making class with the castle chef was fun and educational. Preparing the 4 course meal and enjoying it with a wine tasting was magical!

  • Really had a good time, and learned a lot of regional cuisine. Food came out fantastic and we met some very interesting people. Would recommend!

  • This experience was amazing, probably one of the best parts of our trip to Italy. Our tour guide and cook were hilarious. We had a booking date mishap and they were more than willing to accomidate our group of six that same day. If you want wine tasting and delicious food i definitely recomend this!

  • One of the highlights of our trip.

  • My friends and I loved this cooking class and tour. Roberto the Chef was amaazing, we enjoyed his company and his cooking tips. I would highly recommend this tour.

  • If I could give this tour 6 stars out of 5 I totally would! This was the most amazing experience we had during our travels through Italy. The people were amazing the minute we walked through the door Roberto was smiling and ready to pour us a glass of wine. The tour through the castle was very informative and made us feel as though we were part of something special. As we moved to the cooking class we had Jerry as our chef and he was funny, helpful and made sure we were learning something while having a great time. I am in the hospitality industry and I can't say enough how well this tour was put together and how wonderful the people are! If you have the chance to do this, it will be well worth your time! Even if you don't have the time to do this tour, try to make time, you wont regret it!
