From start to finish we were entertained by our most knowledgeable guide. Delphi was amazing and totally different to expected. The hotel at Kalambaka was lovely and the food was plentiful and good. Meteora was amazing! This wonderful place has to be seen to be believed. Highly recommended.
The sites of the monasteries on top of the rocks were spectacular and worth seeing.A lot of histories shared by the tour guide regarding the different monasteries.
-Our tour guide Zoe was great, super knowledgeable and passionate about greek history and religion -Tiny tour size (10 people), this was super nice - easy to ask questions and move around, I was happy not to be on any of the huge tour buses that would pull up 15 mins after we would start our tour. -We had lots of time to explore at each place, it was a good balance between our tour guide giving us information and time to go take photos. Delphi museum was a highlight, as was Thermopylae where I had lots of extra questions that were patiently answered. -Bring a skirt (not pants for a woman) or pants as well as a shirt long enough to cover your shoulders to go to Meteora monasteries!! i wish we had been told in advance because I ended up having to buy overpriced clothes in Kalambaka. -I do think lunch should have been included for the price of the tour, the places we went to were extremely overpriced so it was annoying to have to deal with that money grab.
What a wonderful trip Ara good price. And very efficient to see Delphi and Meteora in two days. I couldn’t have done this as comfortably and effortlessly if I had chosen to drive. Not to mention that there was so much historical context that I needed to make it really worth it and Stratos provided that so again, sans effort, I was fully able to appreciate these places. Highly recommend!
Both locations were stunning and our guide was very knowledgable. I have absolutely no complaints about the experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
If there were more stars to give I would, our tour guide Anna was absolutely awesome, very informative throughout the drive to both destinations, and excellent full of knowledge at each place. The 2 day trip was well planned out with lots of really great photo stops on the way, our driver Thomas was a really good and skilled driver, we felt very safe even at the tightest of all corners. All the food options including the two meals that were provided where all very good as well. A big thank you to both of them for making our last weekend in Greece a really great one !
Delphi was interesting, Meteora was spectacular! Our guide Mariana was superb. She is super knowledgeable and dry well organized. The only downside is that it’s a lot of time on a bus. It’s comfortable but many hours. The 3 star hotel was terrible. It was very loud and AC didn’t cool at all.
Visiting Delphi and Meteora was awesome and the guides were very knowledgeable. Please be aware that the bus rides on both days will be very long though you will be driving through the beautiful countryside of Greece. We were glad to take this tour, however. Both sights were breathtaking. I wish we had paid for the upgraded hotel. Our hotel was so-so, but you get what you pay for.
Anastasia provided lots of information about Greek culture, history and topography. Very knowledgeable and nice. Delphi & Meteora we’re delightful. Highly recommend this adventure.
We had 2 different guides, one for Delphi and the other for Meteora. They were both great, they gave us a lot of information as we were traveling on the bus and then more specific information when we were on the sites. They kept us fully informed about the schedule, and the schedule was well adhered to.
