Kompong khleang floating village
This place is about an hour out from Siem Reap, but definitely worth a visit. The boat rides you about 2 hours. Once youre on the boat, you cross the stilt houses on either side and make your way towards the floating village and the lake. The round trip takes roughly an hour. Its truly an experience to see an entire community thrive in this area. There are floating schools (one local and one Vietnamese), a number of floating shops and even a few vendors on boats.
