Daniel was the tour guide and he was both knowledgeable and friendly. The two + some hours flew by. I would highly recommend Daniel and the Secret Tour of Little Havana.

We arrived at 10 am at the Bay of Pigs monument, and our tour guide Hugo was there waiting for us. Once we got started, Hugo took us to another monument that had a carving of the Cuban island. He gave us an excellent historical overview of the island, and the history that led to what it was in its early stages, and up to current times. He is very knowledgeable, and answered every question we could throw at him! We then proceeded to go around Little Havana to various locations- a market, a cigar making store, and other nice little places that were all fascinating. Again, the history behind them all was really interesting, and Hugo told it so well! We got to taste some really interesting Cuban coffee, and some excellent pastries as well from Party Cake Pastries. Delicious breakfast and other food there also! A nice Cuban clothing store we also visited. The tour was well worth it . It was like taking a tour with a good friend, even though we had just met Hugo. He is an excellent tour guide- and there is absolutely nothing negative I can think of from the experience. We highly recommend this walking tour. Perhaps you will also get to have Hugo guide you through Little Havana. It was quite fascinating.

Luis was a top-notch guide to Little Havana, providing us with just the right amount of information and history, peppered with anecdotes and personal memories, giving context and colour to an area which is definitely worth visiting.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area. We loved learning about the history AND the food was incredible!

The whole thing was amazing, it is really hard to pick. Don’t change anything. Also the food recommendations were so on point!

Brilliant walk. Daniel our tour guide was excellent. We learnt so much about Cuba and its history, agriculture, and society. Daniel made Little Havana become a community, not just a collection of buildings. Really enjoyed the Cuban food and drink we sampled, all very traditional. We would probably not found these lovely outlets if we had been by ourselves, which would have been a real missed experience. We enjoyed the Cigar factory as well, even though we do not smoke. We returned to the bakery and restaurant again because we loved the food so much. If you visit Little Havana, then we strongly recommend this walk.

We didn't have very high expectations going into this tour, but wanted to learn more about the history of the Cuban culture in Miami. Our tour guide, Idalia, was incredible. Having grown up in the area, she knew all the best spots to take us for fresh juice, fresh pastries, coffee and our favorite, watching cigars being hand made. Domino park was a great way to finish the tour. Our entire family had a great time!

Tasty treats and history shared by a fun expert guide, Dr V. He included everyone and even though I was by myself, his friendly energy made everyone feel like we came as one group.

The best thing about this tour was Luis. He told wonderful stories about his own background as a descendant of Cuban immigrants, and the experiences of his relatives. The second best thing was the places we stopped. I enjoyed hearing about cigar making and tasting Cuban pastries at the bakery. Even though it was windy and rainy on the day of the tour, Luis made it worthwhile.

Informative tour led by a girl with Cuban antecedents. Only covers a very small area, so suitable for people with limited mobility. Includes a very strong Cuban coffee and a fresh fruit juice and pastry. Interesting to see cigar rolling and some Cuban art. Very lively area with lots of bars and live music.
