Excellent guide of food and the city! Csilla gave us great tips of places to visit and to avoid. Not only was it a great food tour, but we also explored the city. We started at the Great Market Hall where she explained the all of the local dishes and ingredients and how they are used to prepared the dishes. Next, we went to a local restaurant to try goulash and fish soup. Then, we took the tram to the Jewish quarter where we explored a bit and tried several well known foods from the area. We completed the tour at one of the iconic ruin bars.

An outstanding tour, and an outstanding guide. The food choices were excellent, and Nick was incredibly informative, not only about the foods, but about the Hungarian people and the history of the country. An excellent way opportunity to get an in depth look at the Hungarian culture. Highly recommended.

Very much enjoyed the walkabout through parts of the city we would not have known to explore. Good variety of food and beverage samples in wide ranging styles of pubs and eateries. Tour guide was well versed and seemed to enjoy herself also. Would recommend!

Such an amazing tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. We were able to try the local dishes and tour the Jewish quarter. Unfortunately the Market was closed but we still had a great tour.

We took our tour on Sunday and missed seeing the Central Market Hall (we were aware of this before booking) but had a wonderful intro to Budapest and some very tasty treats. We met our guide - Beata - in front of the hall and proceeded to NIKA Restaurant for a delicious bowl of Goulash. Then it was on to sample sausages with pickled vegetables at Belvárosi Disznótoros. Along the way Beata related stories about Budapest 0 its history, its time during WWII and then the Sddoviet occupation. We spent much time in the Jewish Quarter and heard of what it was like during the previous decades, and then to see how vibrant and joyful it is today/. Before ending our tour we had a "Fröccs" from the original ruin bar, tasted a delicious Lángos, and finished with the best Chiminey Cake.

This was our first full day in Budapest and proved to be a wonderful introduction to the city, its culture and delicious food. Give it a taste!

This was the highlight of our visit to Budapest. Our guide,Tiberiu, met us at the food hall where we had two generous samples. Then walked to several other locations to try several other Hungarian items. We ended at a Ruin Bar. Tiberiu was very knowledgeable about food and the history of Hungray, and Budapert. We did the 4:00 tour so it covered our dinner. I'll also add that we had a conflict and he went out of the way to help us reschedule our tour.
