Would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone travelling to Adelaide. We saw everything and more. We really enjoyed our time.

The first half of the day was pleasant with a tour of the city and the St Peter’s Anglican Cathedral; however, the stop at the National Wine Centre was disappointing. There was very little to see and most of the interactive display in one of the rooms at the centre appeared to be either not working or not maintained. The afternoon part of this tour was terrific with a stop at Mt Lofty summit lookout and a drive through the hills to Hahndorf. When at Hahndorf, the afternoon tea (strudel and choice of beverage) at the Hahndorf Inn was fantastic! The best strudel I’ve ever tasted. My partner chose to taste the various beers and enjoyed himself too. We did a little bit of shopping, but could have benefited from at least another hour in the town. The visit felt ver rushed. PS make sure you visit the German Village Shop. It was amazing and the staff were fantastic. We bought a fabulous cuckoo clock imported from the Black Forrest that they will send back to North QLD for us at not cost. Pick up and drop off to our hotel was arranged seamlessly.

Particularly loved the morning tour. Informative commentary from Michael and well planned route permitted much to be crammed in and appreciate the beauty of Adelaide. Unfortunately the afternoon trip to Hahndorf was a chilly 1 but still had great views of the city from the top of Mount Lofty. I would thoroughly recommend the day out.

Decided to do a tour. The first half was ok. Looked at lots of houses and architecture. Drove around the city and went to Haighs factory which was really good. The church was closed then had lunch. Had to take all our purchases off the bus as the afternoon tour had new people joining. The second part of the tour was great. Went to Mount Lofty and Hahndorf. Loved it. Had cake and coffee at the Hahndorf Inn great little pub. Would only do the second part of the tour again. The first part was disappointing.

All good except but too long at Haige chocolates Michael was very informative with lots of stories and history

  • 02-Oct-2019

A good day out with a driver who knew his history. Lots to see and was what was expected. The trip to Hahndorf was the highlight of the day as we were free to explore the Main Street.

Excellent days outing. The city tour guide was very informative with he city history and landmarks. The afternoon trip to Hahndorf was great particularly the lunch provided including the Bavarian deserts available and the free time to explore.. The only downside was the city tour showed a boat in the foreground of the advtg photo and assumed was part of the tour which in fact it wasn't.
