Know More about this tour

After hotel pickup by your guide, you’re driven along the winding shoreline to Uluwatu Temple, located among the southern cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula, whose dramatic precipices rise almost 330 feet (100 meters) from the Indian Ocean. Majestically perched on the edge of a steep promontory, the small temple dates back to the 10th century and is counted among six temples most revered by the Balinese people.

With a beautiful ocean sunset as your backdrop, enjoy a kecak dance with traditional Balinese movements and chants performed in a circle around a blazing torch.

Afterward, continue on to an expansive beach in Jimbaran Bay for a delicious barbecue dinner. Dine under the stars as you’re served a seafood platter including prawns, grilled fish, squid and clams, accompanied by rice, spinach and sambal (spicy Indonesian sauce).

Your 4-hour experience ends with drop-off at your hotel.

  • Really enjoyed this tour!! Food was great. Tour guide was friendly, just too invasive of our private pace.

  • The host was friendly/on time for pick up. However,This activity took several hours longer than advertised. The romantic dinner for 2 was actually a group dinner with strangers ... not so romantic. The lobster dinner seemed as if it was cooked several hours before and drinks/sodas not included.

  • My husband and I booked this tour on our actual anniversary date for our 2 years, mostly because of the beach side dinner at the end of the tour. Our guides one driver and one tour guide were nice and did have issues with English, but we got through and communicated fairly successfully when we had questions. Walking up to the temple, you do see some monkeys, they mostly mind their own business unless you have an obnoxious tourist egging them on unfortunately there were many that day. Anyway, it's a bit of walk up along some stones steps, but once you get up there, the view is spectacular and the guides will help you with taking some very good pics. It does get crowded so if you're claustrophobic, please keep that in mind. Also, please note you are only allowed to see the surrounding areas of the temple, you can't actually step foot onto the temple itself, as that is closed off, but still worth the trip for the view. We were then escorted to the arena where the Kecak show was to start. Please note to bring a hat as you are there during sunset and it can get quite warm. They do pack that arena with as many people as possible, to the point of suffocation in my opinion. we were packed in there like sardines, that was a downside for us. It made it very uncomfortable at times. The show is quite long and your butt may get a bit numb since the seating is on concrete, so be prepared for that. Towards the end of the show, they do ask for some audience participation, which was pretty funny. Again, if you're claustrophobic, this tour may not be for you. We ended the night at Jimbaran beach at a pre-selected seafood restaurant, which is about 1 hour away yes, 1 hour. The food was pretty decent and you can't beat the views of the beach, though it was already dark, just hearing and smelling the ocean air was nice, with the sand under your feet and candlelit dinner...pretty romantic I would say. All i all, besides the few things I pointed out, I would book this tour.

  • This was a really great time, Visit the temple, see the monkeys, see the show and then dinner on the beach! Just note that if you are a little claustrophobic, they pack you in there pretty tight for the Kecak Show. And it is just concrete seats so after a while your backside may go numb. Just an FYI. Also understand that pretty much all of the food that you are going to get in Bali will be seafood. but good fresh seafood

  • Misleading; you can't get very close to the temple, you get stuck in the amphitheater in the blazing sun waiting for the show which drags on for far too long. The food was the best part but unless you love stage show type performances this trip is far too expensive compared to others around Bali.

  • The Uluwatu night cliff scene was like a sunset everywhere. Beautiful but not unique.
The Kecak show was long - it seemed so long. Thank goodness there was a printed page to give us an idea of what was going on on stage. The guys that sang for the whole show were amazing and had endurance.
The seafood dinner was the saviour of this trip. A large platter each of various types of fish had me struggling to finish. Very good.

  • The Uluwatu temple is beautiful, the dance fire is really, really great, and the seafood...oh my, delicious!!!
    Great experience!

  • While the Uluwatu cliffs were great the organising company allowed a 7th passenger despite 6 being the max. This meant a family night had an unexpected pax. Further this person wasn and #39;t at pickup and half way there we had to return to pickup point. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable situation

  • Loved this! Got picked up from our hotel in late afternoon, so got to Uluwatu with plenty of sunlight to see the beautiful cliffs down to the ocean, monkeys, all the tourists in sarongs, and wonderful walk all the way up to the top of the hill to the temple! Toured the temple grounds with our fantastic guide, Wiyasa. Then took our seats in the outdoor amphitheater to await the show and watch the sunset. Loved the Kecak show, the men chanting, the beautiful costumes, and the story that is depicted is so many Balinese sculptures and art. After the wonderful show, we went to the beach dinner. Toes in the sand, candles on the tables, we were treated to seafood platters and rice and fruit. Very nice, and a terrific setting. Fantastic 3-in-1 tour temple/show/dinner!! Highly recommend it!!

  • Our driver and guide didn't speak clearly and had some issues with English. They got lost trying to find the location of the other people on the tour and honestly, my husband and I didn't feel safe or comfortable with this driver or guide. Stopped on the way to Uluwatu to take us to a coffee growing farm-this was not part of our paid tour and just a side trip in hopes of us purchasing coffee or tea. Most of us just got several mosquito bites on this side trip. The Uluwatu Cliff is beautiful however, we didn't have time to walk along the cliffs as the guide told us to go sit in the amphitheater to wait for the Kecak show....we had to wait for an hour or more and it was extremely hot. The show was mediocre and lasted over an hour the guide instructed us to leave 10 minutes before the show ended so we could beat the traffic. The Uluwatu cliffs are popular however, you could hardly walk because there were SO many people there. The Hindu temple was closed to any foot traffic so we didn't get to see that. Monkeys very bold and yes, taking items from cars, motorcycles, backpacks, etc. They are very aggressive. Another long drive to the dinner spot. We ate on the beach but it was so dark that we could hardly see our plates. And, we didn't find the restaurant staff to be friendly or the food more than acceptable. It was a very long, disappointing afternoon/evening. We were greatly relieved to finally be back to our hotel.
