Guests are collected at approximately 0700 Hrs and are transferred on a game drive in an open vehicle into the Zambezi National Park where they have the chance to see some game on the way. After a continental breakfast and thorough safety briefing which covers safety conditions of the river, rapids, canoeing instruction, and general information, the safaris starts. On these trips guests paddle their own canoes, following their qualified canoe guide as he leads the way. The trip duration is spent canoeing (18kms) downstream, running small grade one and two rapids, exploring channels, bird and game viewing. A picnic lunch is served on the mainland or an island. Cold minerals and beers are served at the take out point at the end of the day and guests are back in Victoria falls by about 14h00. Routes taken on this trip can vary due to logistical, road and weather conditions.
NOTE: Children aged 7 and older can participate in canoe safaris if accompanied by a parent and can fit into a lifejacket
