Excellent half day tour in a very comfortable eight seater van. Our guide, David, was very knowledgeable and pointed out many places of interest. The tour was focussed on the places Van Gogh stayed during the time he lived in Provence. The visit to Saint-Paul Asylum in Saint-Remy-de-Provence where copies of many of the paintings that he painted while there are displayed was both particularly enjoyable and moving. It was also interesting to visit and learn about some of the places Van Gogh stayed in Arles. Another highlight of the afternoon was our visit to Carrières de Lumieres, an old limestone mine under the mountains which has been repurposed to show stunning multimedia exhibitions. Thank you to David and Provence Panorama for a very enjoyable excursion.

Our guide Nicola was excellent. He wove his deep knowledge of Van Gogh into the areas we visited where Van Gogh stayed and painted. He also took us to various areas with Roman ruins and did a wonderful job of detailing Rome's presence and influence in the area. He brought the area alive.

Seeing where Van Gogh lived, worked and ultimately was hospitalized helped bring his story to life. Attending the light show of art at Carrieres des Lumieres was a fascinating experience.

Frédérique was a great tour guide for the St. Remy Asylum and Carrieres de Lumieres. Very knowledgeable about Van Gogh and the history of the rock quarry. We even had a little time left for Arles. Fun trip:)

This was a great tour, we enjoyed every minute. Our guide Thierry was wonderful, he was knowledgeable, interesting and funny. We visited all the places we were suppose to - it was a very full 1/2 day tour! I highly recommend this tour.

Fred is a knowledgeable, professional, pleasant guide. We liked him a lot.. Despite the cold rains, we managed an interesting afternoon. Fred was willing to take us to bucket list Arles venues and even loaned me his cardigan sweater.and umbrella …. we were under dressed due to wrong weather reports.. Even hearty Canadians get cold.! His Impressive cultural & architectural knowledge much appreciated.. What a treat to have this private tour ….in a new Mercedes..! Thanks for a great tour of Arles ++.. W. Easton..

Our guide, Nicola, was excellent. Our tour was on Easter Sunday so parking was a challenge for him. He was not able to stay with us as long as he wanted in Saint-Paul de Mausole. In Arles, he was very creative finding a parking spot and led us on a grand tour of the city Center despite it being a crowded festival that day. He was able to tell us about the spots where Van Gogh painted and link those to his famous paintings. Carriere des Lumieres was incredible! The venue is so big that it did not feel crowded and this show is not to be missed!
