Know More about this tour

Your Vancouver North Shore day trip starts with pickup from Vancouver (selective hotels only) and a drive over the Lions Gate Bridge, a 5,890-foot (1,823-meter) suspension bridge that offers unparalleled views of Vancouver Harbor, and beyond.

Once you get across to the North Shore, continue on a short drive up the mountain to the Capilano Fish Hatchery (11 am departure only). Learn about the life cycle of salmon from your guide and, depending on the season (July-August), watch as they leap their way upriver.

Next, head to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, where you'll meander along the surrounding temperate rainforest and learn the traditions of the indigenous First Nations people. Then, walk across the 446-foot (136-meter) bridge to the other side of the river, where you can climb to the canopy and walk through the Treetops Adventure walkway high above the canyon and river below.

For those seeking a more thrilling experience, try the Cliffwalk, the newest attraction at the bridge. This adrenaline-pumping journey will take you through the rainforest on a series of suspended walkways, jutting out from the granite cliff face to unexplored territories of the park.

At the Grouse Mountain Skyride, hop on the tram and travel to a 3,937-foot (1,200-meter) viewpoint above the city and enjoy nature's spectacular view. In the summertime, you can see Mount Baker and Vancouver island off British Columbia's coast. You can also get up-close views of grizzly bears at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife.

After your North Shore experience, relax on the drive back to Vancouver.

I booked this attraction mainly for my three 14 year old granddaughters and they loved it. I could not climb the bridge for health reasons but the girls found the bridge and the cliff walk very exciting and interesting. At Grouse Mountain, the biggest attraction for the girls was the Birds in Motion Demonstration. We did see two bears but they were very far away it. There was very little else to see or do there. The Sky ride that takes you up and down is not very good because they cram way to many people in one car and you feel like a sardine in a can.

I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure! It was raining most of the day, but the memories are priceless.

Get there early! We arrived by 9.00am and there were only 5 people - great for your first experience on the bridge. The other side was a real surprise with so much to do with the tree walk and other trails. The return across the bridge was a bit more challenging with 40 or 50 people on it so swaying was an issue, so much so that the swaying sensation stayed with you for some time. The cliff walk was great too, no major height issues with the wooden walkway, may have been harder if it was still glass! The gondola ride up Grouse Mountain was fine except for the mist and cold at the top. The grizzlies, Grinder and Coola, were surprisingly interesting. It may have been annoyance at the noise from the school group in attendance but they paid attention to the people, not just the other way round. The wood sculptures are also worth seeing, overall a very good experience.

Alessio was amazing! He was a great tour guide and we had enough time at each location and it really was worth it. While the suspension bridge scared the crazy out of me, it was still a must do.
    Thank you!

Greg was very punctual in picking us up. Small group so moved pretty quickly. Lovely weather so made it a great day. Express entry to the bridge so he was on the ball to get us there before the queues started. Grouse mountain was lovely and we had adequate time to do everything. Lumberjack show was pretty funny which wasn't expected. Lot of interesting facts shared along the way.
Called the day before to confirm pick up spot as we were staying in airbnb and not a hotel. They were able to move our pick up to a closer hotel without any fuss.
Very professional service via phone and driver was great. Van was very clean and he was swift to keep everything efficient.
Driver happily dropped us to granville market on our way back and gave us some great tips!
