Know More about this tour

When your cruise is over and you arrive in Vancouver, you'll be picked up from the cruise port and taken on a post-cruise shore excursion to see some of the area's best mountainous terrain. Enjoy a comfortable coach drive north along the Sea to Sky Highway, a stretch of Highway 99 wedged between Howe Sound and the coastal mountains.

Travel about 36 miles (58 km) along the highway to Shannon Falls Provincial Park, just south of the town of Squamish, passing through the coastal village of Horseshoe Bay along the way. When you reach Shannon Falls, the third-highest waterfall in British Columbia at 1,100 feet (335 meters), take a 10-minute walk through the forest to a lookout deck where you can feel the mist of the gushing waters that fall over the cliffs.

You can also catch some air on this tour: Head to to the Sea to Sky Gondola, where a 10-minute ride will take you 2,900 feet (885 meters) above sea level. During the ride, enjoy panoramic views of Howe Sound, Shannon Falls, the mountains and the lush coastal forest. When you get to the top, you have free time to take advantage of whichever amenities you wish: explore two different walking trails that lead to amazing viewpoints; check out the dizzying, 328-foot-long (100-meter) Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge; get a drink or something to eat at the Summit Restaurant and Edge Bar (own expense); or just relax and soak up the views from the Summit Lodge.

Ride the gondola down to your coach to continue your day trip to your last stop, the Britannia Mine Museum, about 10 minutes back down the highway toward Vancouver. Located in the sleepy community of Britannia Beach, the now-defunct copper mine dates back to the late 1800s and is today a museum and National Historic Site.

During your tour of the mine, go panning for gold and ride a mining car into the old mine. Learn about the history and importance of mining in British Columbia through the museum’s exhibits and underground tour, during which a museum guide will operate your mining car and provide commentary.

Your day trip ends with the drive back to Vancouver.

  • Savanna at Landsea Tours was AWESOME. She definitely is in the right field of work. Very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend that if looking for something to do post cruise, do this. Great she was able to drop us off at the airport.

  • We enjoyed our tour but was really disappointed in the tour guide. When I would try to talk with him and ask him questions about something he made me feel that I was a nuisance. He spent more time chatting up the three girls on our bus who were training as tour guides for the company, and finally it was to these three that we would talk with and get answers to our questions. He also pulled out in front of a car when we left one of the stops and if it wasn't for the quick reactions of the other driver, we would have gotten a chance to explore some of your hospital emergency rooms.

  • We were told where to meet our tour guide after disembarking our cruise, we were loaded onto a bus with our luggage, where they did have our requested 2 wheelchairs, and dropped us off at our hotel after the tour.
Our guide Gina was fun and knowledgeable and we had a great day!

  • We took this tour after we docked at Canada Place. Once we made our way to the street level, we located a tour representative who was asking around for names. Quickly had our luggage loaded into the mini-bus and we were off. Our guide Jeremy was great. Very casual but professional. Tour price included admission to a copper mine. Linda the tour guide was super. Amazing stop included a ride into the mine. Also included ticket to the Sea to Sky Tram Lift. Beautiful ride and nice hike to a viewing platform. We were dropped off right in front of our hotel which was arranged while we were on the tour. Highly recommended for a tour away from the city.

  • First rate tour! Six of us were picked up at our ship and we spent the day touring outside of Vancouver, seeing breathtaking sights on a short waterfalls hike, followed by a gondola ride and walking a suspension bridge. For the kids and kids at heart, there was a mine tour complete with a ride down into the mine. Great educational tour as well as beautiful!
They picked us up, toured us and dropped us at our hotel for a full day well worth the money.

  • Very nice trip with Matt. Drive was very scenic and the commentary was ver informative.

  • First class from meeting us after the cruise, touring outside Vancouver, and dropping us off at our airport hotel. The vehicle used was new, clean and very comfortable. Jeremy, our guide, was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. I will highly recommend this company to anyone .

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Lots of fun and the weather was perfect!
