There you can find bell tower, main church, cave dwellings, rooms, chapels, pharmacy and wine cellars. Infrastructure includes access tunnels, water facilities, and provision for defence. Vardzia has been submitted for future inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a Cultural Site.
Rabati Castle is a medieval castle complex of Asian style in Akhaltsikhe. Built in the 13th century, Rabati castle developed under the influence of different cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture.
Borjomi is the picturesque resort town in south-central Georgia located on the edge of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. The town is famous for its mineral water, which is the number one export of Georgia.

Das war ein langer aber sehr vielseitiger Tag. Segr anstrengend aber entspannt geführt. Deh freundlicher Guide und der Fahrer fuhr sicher.

The vehicle was in bad condition and broke down almost as soon as we started and we had to hang around on the highway for almost one and a half hours. The guides English was extremely poor and we could hardly understand a word he said.

Absolutely brilliant tour. Its only taken me 10 months to write this review. That's how good the tour was. The caves experience was the highlight of the tour. I can't remember his name now but the guide was brilliant too. I was only English speaker & he took so much time ti explain everything. Go on this tour!!

It's a nice way to get out of Tbilisi. Rabati and Vardzia were interesting. I was not overly impressed with Borjomi. Nice park area but there isn't much there except the history of mineral water production. The guide was nice and did his best to keep up with English and Russian translation. Be aware, you will be in the bus a long time, the trip itself is 14 hrs (8:30 am-10:30 pm). The first destination was about 3 hours after leaving Tbilisi. You will spent about 1 hr at each site, a bit more at Vardzia. This was my favorite of the three. However, you will see a lot of Georgia countryside. Pack a lunch! Our first meal was almost at 5 pm. You will have to pay for entrance fees at all 3 sites. Cards accepted except at Borjomi park. For the amount of driving and distance the price is reasonable for the tour. Maybe wish that the entrance fees were included.

This tour is exactly as described and a great way to see a lot of places in one day. Well worth the long drive!

  • 25-Apr-2023

We loved all the three landmarks: Rabati Castle, Vardzia caves and Borjomi springs. The van was comfy, the driver was very nice, and the guide was FANTASIC--> Uncle Zaza! The hours made and kilometers covered were completely worth it! Don't miss it once you're in Tbilisi

The places were beautiful but our guide was not very pleasant. He got angry with me and kept telling me tu hurry up. Not the behaviour expected from a guide. Appalling.

Beautiful excursion!!!History of a vary unusual country with the great knowledge of our guide Ana.What Kapadocia in Turky has underground Vardzia has on the ground. You can have complitly differnet experience from other countries in Europe.

The guide Galina was very professional. The caves are the most important things to see and she explained also inside the complex. The Rabati fortress was not my kind of visit because is 99% new, not a real restoration. But there are lot of tourists that like to take pictures inside.
