This was a fantastic way to start our visit to Venice. We did it on our first day, in the hopes that we would get recommendations of food and places to try whilst we were staying. And we certainly did.
The tour is very informative about the history of food in Venice and also about Venice itself.
Just make sure not to each much for breakfast, as within 10 minutes of the tour starting you're having your first bite to eat and first Spritz!!
We had a great selection of food to try, and was great to have a local take us round the food markets and give us some insight into them and also how Venetians eat, and why they tend to eat small plates.
Our tour guide was wonderful and happy to answer all questions that were posed to her.
This is a great tour, and I would highly recommend it.
What a wonderful experience! Not only did we eat delicious food we also learnt about the history a Venice and architecture! I highly recommend this tour.
A thoughtful overview of the Rialto Market and the Cecchetti shops around it. Kristina was our guide and she was passionate but easy to understand. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it when in Venice. Francesca, our guide was very informative with much of the history of Venice. The food and drink was amazing!
Tour guide was knowledgeable and knew the best places for the tastings.
Our tour started in the rain but that didn't dampen our spirits. Christina knew all the secret spots and was friendly with the vendors in the market. The food, its history and the wine samplings all added to a great tour. I only wish that we had more time .
Tour guide was great and very personable. She was easy to understand, and had great history of Venice. The food was amazing, I want to come back to try more Venetian food.
We loved this tour! Our guide was lovely, very welcoming and conversational. The food was phenomenal and we were introduced to our new favorite wine!
Great tour with a super guide! Would do it again!
Barbara was so enthusiastic about her city. There were just three of us so we really got an intimate detailed tour. The restaurant chosen for our lunch was wonderfully quaint. It's a great way to see and taste Venice.
