Follow your guide to unusual places, such as the old Jewish cemetery and enjoy the wonderful view of the minor islands of the lagoon.

You will discover and understand the history of the lagoon's fortification system, the ancient wells of the old town centre of Malamocco and see the Murazzi, a huge sea fortification built by the Serenissima Republic in the 1700s.

  • This was the coolest experience ever! We love the inner city and canals of Venice but it can get so crowded. This was a perfect way to catch our breath, get away from the congestion and see another part of Venice that most don't even know about. Marco our tour guide was so friendly, informative and flexible. He allowed us to stop and jump in the Adriatic Ocean! Not to mention the added bonus of getting some fun exercise in while we're eating all that pasta! Thank you Viators, thank you Marco!

  • Such a great morning. The island of Lido is gorgeous and really fun to bike around. Our guide, Marco, was wonderful!

  • We recently came back from a great trip to Venice, and one of the highlights was the bike tour. We try to take a bike tour in every city that we visit. We feel like it gives us a whole different perspective on the new city, and at the same time getting a bit of exercise. We enjoyed the biking very good quality bikes, and our tour guide gave us some useful information along the way. Our kids ages 17 and 11 enjoyed it very much as well.

  • Hi We had a great cycle with Marco on the Venice Lido bike tour. I would highly recommend it. Marco was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Lido and the tour was great fun.

  • An enjoyable and informative half day. Well organised.

  • A must tour while in Venice

  • Marco, our knowledgeable guide, met us at the entrance to the People Mover with new bikes and then we took the ferry to Lido where we cycled at a comfortable pace around the island. We stopped frequently at various sites where the explanations were enhanced by pictures, maps and videos. We had a great time.

  • I love taking bike tours when I visit cities, and this tour did not disappoint. It was only me and 3 other people, besides the tour guide, so the tour felt very intimate. It was also super relaxing! This was the first thing I had scheduled upon my arrival to Venice, and it was a great way to relax from all of my traveling I know...sounds counter-intuitive.

  • It was everything we expected. Marco, our guide was easy to get a hold of, he tailored the tour to suit us as we were the only two people on it. I believe he even gave us a longer tour, stopping to explain everything as we went.

  • Ok not great. Jewish cemetery was closed and we never saw a fort. Mostly just riding with info about lagoons.
