  • We learned so much about Venice duirng this tour. Our guide was great with the kids. We even stopped for Gelato along the way!

  • Veronica was a brilliant guide, lots of interesting information about Venice - for children and parents alike! My children loved it and are still talking about the facts Veronica imparted. Highly recommended.

  • Great tour! Our guide Federica was amazing. She was patient with our kids and kept our 4 1/2 year old excited with games and prizes. Definitely recommend!

  • The tour guide was very friendly and great with the kids. We mostly followed he from place to place and she did to say much about any of the places we visited unless we asked specific questions. she gave the kids a sheet to fill with points for finding certain landmarks, which was very cute. The kids enjoyed that. She gave a few prized the got them very exited. The tour was not very informative, but the kids had a nice time.

  • A heartfelt Grazie to Veronica, the very knowledgeable and personable tour guide! She really connected with the children who ranged from 6 to 13, and made sure to include everyone, in particular the more reserved kids.
Veronica guided the group to a fruit and vegetable market, a fish market, we walked and walked through Venice, all the while she explained about the history of Venice or, for example, how to figure out in which quarter of Venice you are hint: it's on written the lamps.... We went to visit a bookstore for a great photo opportunity where the kids climbed on a ten foot high book chair. That was cool. She explained about the usage of masks, where the tradition comes from, for example, the so-called doctor's mask. We also stopped for Gelato grown-ups got one too :. All-in-all an excellent experience for kids and their grown-ups. It's a lot of walking though, so just be prepared ad make sure to wear comfortable shoes and remember your sunblock :. The tour was closer to three hours rather than the 2.5 hours advertised. So flexibility is key.
The meeting place is in front of a church near the Rialto bridge. We were lost but our tour guide found us, asking if we were looking for the tour. Suggest to be there a little bit ahead of time, if you're not familiar with the area. Well done, Veronica. Thank you!!!!

  • If you have kids and want a wonderful walking tour experience I highly recommend this tour. Veronica was fabulous and the kids learned so much and had a great time.

  • Only one other family joined us together with Veronica, our guide. She made our 14 yr old welcome. We walked through uncrowded streets and enjoyed little snippets about Venice and its history. We stopped for an ice cream and took photos at the end. Thoroughly recommend.

  • So happy with this tour. Our guide Veronica was energetic and engaged the kids in conversation throughout. She took us off the typical tour path and we really learned about the city and history. The kids still remember how many islands make up Venice, and how to tell what part of the city you are in by looking at street lights. The market tour was interesting. Highly recommend!

  • This tour we took at the beginning of august 2017 - I was apprehensive - we have children 8 8 and 11, we joined an American family with children 9 and 13. it was close to 95F how would they cope? well - I need not worry - our guide had all 5 kids hooked in seconds - it was like she cast a spell on them! We all got to see things that we would never of seen and our kids have remembered all that she said. This was great value for money and allowed us parents to relax a bit .....the time flew by and I really enjoyed it.
The walking is not taxing - even younger ones would be fine - its starts at rialto and ends near the square..
thank you so much for this..

  • This was a great tour for the kids and grown ups. Our tour guide, Veronica, was wonderful. She certainly knew her stuff and applied it to the level of kids but also kept it interesting for the adults. Our grandkids will remember this tour. It was well worth the cost.
