  • A fantastic culinary experience that also gives you an insight into Venice away from the tourist hotspots. The guide, Nike was engaging and knowledgable. The food was traditional but delicious. A trip well worth the price and more...

  • This tour was amazing. My husband and I agreed that this was the best tour of our trip through Italy and Greece. The tour guide was EXCEPTIONAL! It certainly took USB to places in Venice we wouldn't have found on our own

  • We really enjoyed this tour. Got a lot of local history from the guide and some great food and drink. Learned a lot. The only item I would note is that it was not so much as a Local Food Market Visit as it was Walk through the local food market on your way to the next stop.

  • Very enjoyable.
The guide was a lovely person and she did her best to make everyone feel welcome.
If I am going to be critical...it's that we paid for a private two person tour and it ended up with 8 people including a French couple who spoke very little English and therefore missed out on many of the details that were being conveyed, so we felt really bad for them.
I have no idea how they ended up on an English speaking tour.
We did not complain about the 'private' thing as it seemed pointless to be so churlish about a few very nice folk being on a walking tour with us....but we did PAY for a private tour.
I'm an easy going guy...but if you pay for something that's what you should get.
The tour itself was first class.

  • Had a lovely tour with a great guide with lots of local knowledge. It made negotiating the lanes of Venice seem a breeze and all the food stops were at super friendly bars.

  • What a fantastic guide we had who went over and above any brief I have ever known. She tried to ensure that everyone had something scrummy to try even if they had some allergies and she managed to find a no sugar ice cream for diabetics! Every where we went there was some delicacy to try and she was so knowledgeable and smiley. Highly recommend.

  • Veronica was our excellent guide, very friendly to whole group from multiple countries. Just the right mix of history, humour, info and food. We tried different foods that we wouldn't on our own. Opportunities to buy wine that we'd recommend. Foods are good for almost all preferences and choices are given e.g. vegetarian and meatball options alongside fish. Volume of food is equivalent to a decent sized lunch so don't eat beforehand. Highly recommended and we would do it all over again.

  • Absolutely fabulous tour, gave you a great insight into places in Venice that you would probably never find. Veronica was just lovely, an amazing guide that made the whole tour really enjoyable. The food we tasted was fabulous and washed down with prosecco and a few glasses of Aperol, we were set up for places to eat after our tour, which made the rest of our stay perfect. When I come back to Venice this tour would be top of my list to do again, can't recommend it enough. I've down many food tours in various locations this was by far the best. Thank you again to the lovely Veronica.

  • Tour was really good. Stopped off at various eateries and tasted a variety of foods. The guide was nice and chatty

  • Best tour I've been on since being in italy, our guide was warm, friendly, and very informative and the tour was fun! It really helps also when the group is good too (especially seen as I had my one year old son with me) the food and wine was also a HUGE highlight.
