Know More about this tour

Palace of versailles And Giverny Day Trip From Paris is for you if you are short on time. Book the day tour from Paris and be ready to make the most of your limited time!

First up on our trip plan is Giverny. We stop at Fondation Claude Monet - home to Impressionist maestro Monet from 1833 until his demise in 1926. Walk across the Japanese bridge you have seen somewhere before and catch your reflection in that water lily pond.

Duration: 2 hours

Next up is a hearty lunch (we won’t let you eat cake unless you want to), after visiting Moulin de Fourges, an 18th-century mill, inspired by Marie Antoinette's hamlet. The Palace of Versailles leads us nicely on to your next stop. Compare and contrast your interior decor to that of Louis XIV and his wife, then waltz through the vast Hall of mirrors. Your tour guide is at hand to answer your questions, however weird or wonderful.

Duration: 3 hours

As we move ahead, we will pass by the Gardens of versailles. You are in for a treat (and numerous photo ops) in the palace’s back garden, and no garden worth its name would be complete without a fountain, a sculpture, a forGare de l|est or two. If you choose the right date, you will catch the Musical Fountains show, when the gardens numerous water features rise-and-fall to the rhythm of Louis XIV’s favorite tunes.

Then it's a journey back to your romantic city of Paris.

We took a train from St Lazare and it takes just over an hour to get there. Whisked to Monet's houseand gardens with the bus shuttle for £10 each return and had wonderful two hours spent there looking at the garden, lake and house. Not crowded but it is late autumn so best time to go.

Our tour guide Julian and our driver were wonderful guides. We are so appreciative of their efforts. The bus was comfortable. We were left to wander about the gardens with instructions to meet back at a certain time. It was plenty of time to enjoy the garden and the home. We then went to lunch at a restaurant a few minutes away. The lunch was served with three courses and wine. The pork was tender. We then went to Versailles. Julian walked us to the garden where he pointed out highlights and then gave us time to enjoy the gardens on our own. We met him at an appointed time and he gave us a tour of the palace. Our driver took us through some beautiful towns which was very much appreciated. A few days later, we saw Julian at the Louvre. It was like seeing an old friend. He was a wonderful guide.

This review is long overdue, so sorry Magala! My friends and I enjoyed a well organized and informative tour with the amazing Magala. We started off with a lovely car ride to Monet's House. The van was comfortable, spacious, and air conditioned. Magala was full of knowledge and was able to answer all our questions (and boy did we have ALOT) as we rode there. Once he arrived he gave us clear instructions and plenty of time to explore the House and Gardens. The Gardens are so beautiful and serene. We then drove to a quaint hotel with lovely scenery and had a small, but delicious lunch! Magala was happy to take pictures for us so we could have long lasting memories. We then set off to Versailles where he gave us a detailed guided tour of the inside of the Palace. Again, he took pictures for us before we explored the grounds by ourselves. I would recommend bringing an umbrella and applying sunscreen as the sun was unrelentless and there is no shade. Other than that it was a beautiful day and experience overall and I really appreciate that we had Magala as our tour guide!

Our guide was very informative. The Monet gardens were beautiful. And the lunch was much nicer than expected. Versaille is overwhelming, the amount of wealth at that time is just amazing.
