  • This tour of Versailles was absolutely wonderful! The small group private tour format was very intimate and informative. Herve is so knowledgeable and passionate about this landmark and its history. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing Versailles from a unique perspective. - Jason and Whende Carroll

  • We had an amazing experience! I booked this tour together with my girlfriend. Despite that fact that we were the only people who booked on the day, they still sent the guide who spent 3.5h with the two of us! Hervé is a passionate guy, that really loves what he does!

The meeting point is easy to find and the trip is only 20 min by train no change, very convenient. We skipped the line both the one for independent people and the one for groups and gained access via a small door on the side of the palace. We really felt like VIPs, and this treatment didn't stop there.

The guided tour was absolutely amazing, Hervé was very knowledgeable about his stories - both serious history facts and interesting tales, with an impeccable English. No gate stood in our way - literally! We accessed the chapel, sitting in the middle, where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette got married, admiring the ceiling and royal balcony, none visible from the entrance, where tourist access is normally restricted.

Also, we avoided the crowds by going through restricted areas. We visited the king's private apartments, an area where visits are currently very restricted, and where we could also see some amazing things such as a remake of the original curtains today sewn at a cost of 3 KEUR per cm sq. It was a wonderful experience that placed us right in those times of the history.

After visiting the palace, the guide took us to the gardens, where we walked together through half of them, listening to tales of things that happened between those lovely nature's walls. After the guided visit was over, Hervé recommended a plan to visit the rest of the gardens, leaving us with some other brief indications in mind, which we followed without regret. They provide a train ticket for you to return upon your wish, so no worries about not dedicating enough time on your own!

For visiting Versailles, we recommend booking at least an additional 3h time slot on top of the guided tour so about 6-7h in total - there are plenty of beautiful things to see there, especially in the gardens, on your own!

  • Nice Place!!!
Don't buy the ticket from the girder tour, but buy the ticket for place ahead of time.
don't need any guide unless you need to know full history of french revolution.
    save money!!!!!!!

  • Awesome day at Versailles with our wonderful tour guide Herve. He met us promptly and took our small group on the train ride to Versailles. He was funny, attentive and knew everything there was to know about the Palace and Gardens. He gave us all headsets so that we could always hear him over the sounds of other tourists and their guides inside of the palace. We enjoyed our morning tour of Versailles so much that we chose to stay on after lunch for the afternoon of the Petit Trianon. The afternoon was every bit as great as the morning as Herve knows everything about Marie Antionette and shares it with the passion he feels for her and for that time in history. I would very highly recommend this tour and Herve. You will love every minute of it.

  • This was excellent - our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our day. Very moving seeing all the war cemeteries.

  • The guide Herve was excellent, he is like a history book walking around with us. Our group was small and he always paid attention to everyone in the group as Versailles was crowded and we have both kids and senior. We mentioned to him at the end that we would like to go to Eiffel tower but tickets were sold out, he managed to call his company and let us joined the tour to the tower in the next morning, it was amazing as we had a group of 5 people, the big surprise came in after the Eiffel Tower tour, we got a complimentary cruise in addition! That was a nice treat.

We did join another company for tours in a few days prior in Paris and the experience was totally bad as the guide didn't even showed up.

We highly recommend this tour to anyone that want to have a fabulous experience in visiting Paris

  • If you are traveling abroad and wish to see sites such as Versailles Palace and Garden, I would highly recommend this interactive tour with skip the line access.
Skipping the line access was the icing on the cake. Our guide was the cake with a wealth of knowledge and substance, not to mention super friendly. Our guide was amazing! He pointed out so many things about Versailles that my wife and I never would have known by just walking through on our own. The knowledge our guide had to share was superb. If you really want to appreciate a place like Versailles, take this tour. Definitely Money Well Spent!!!

  • We had a great tour of the Palace of Versailles. Our tour included the private apartments in addition to the regular tour. The skip-the-line access allowed us to avoid long-long-long lines. We met the guide at the arranged location, he lead us to the train with a direct shot to Versailles. The guide was very knowledgeable. Great experience.

  • Excellent, my family is so happy we joined this tour. One of the highlights of our trip! It was great to have a tour inside and outside of the palace. Our guide was not only knowledgeable, but engaging as well. We have two teen age kids and they were fully engaged the entire time. Well worth the money! Getting in the front of the line was a perk as well, as the line was enormous.

  • Excellent tour - I knew this was the right choice the minute we arrived at Versailles, when I saw the LONG lines to enter the palace, which we were able to bypass. Our tour guide, Herve, was great! He shared his knowledge throughout the tour, and he answered a ton of questions related to this era of French history, leading up to the French Revolution. The Gardens, particularly the Musical Fountain Show, were spectacular.
