Amigo tours has to be the WORST tour operator in Rio. They cancelled the City sightseeing part of our tour, and changed the schedule of the early morning Cocovada experience, without an explanation, apart from some pathetic excuse about the Rio Carnival. When I requested a refund... they say they cannot refund me, but they were operating the tour. PEOPLE Do NOT ever use Amigo Tours... not only inefficient but management is stupid as well.

Knowledgeable and friendly guide, ample timing at the 2 attractions. Might want to give the tour guide a portable microphone so that the group can hear better.

The tour guide and driver were awesome the company handling this not so much. They changed start time 12 hours before which we rolled with but they refused to offer a refund after we paid extra for early access and then being moved into a regular tour. Additionally, when we contacted them about time change you don’t talk to local operator it’s a center or office in Mexico City. Highly recommend avoiding and booking upon arrival with local company direct. I’ve been Viator user for long time, this has given me pause.

The cancelled in the last day with an non credible excuse, it is a shame. They said they run out of tickets in the pan de azucar but, what happened with the Cristo Redentor?

This was a good trip for us to take in both Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf. It was called “early access” but not too sure how that worked as there were already big crowds at the monument on our arrival. We did have a great guide called Ricardo and he was very informative and kept us on schedule. Would have liked more time at Sugar Loaf maybe as a really beautiful place to hang out and eat too! We all had a great tour and have some amazing photos to cherish - could not have had a clearer sky !

Great time had by all. Very professional and accommodating. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

The tour lasted about 8 hours, rather boring. Just driving around downtown Rio, with just 5 stops: the cathedral, Sugar Loaf, lunch (very average), Corcovado and the Selaron steps. It gave though a good idea of the city and allowed for planning several hours of walking downtown

First of all Patrica was amazing, very funny and knowledgeable. As for the tour itself it was not early access whatsoever. We got picked up at 7.45 supposed to be 7.40 but I’ll let the 5 minutes go. As we left the guide said we have to stop at 2 other hotels to see if we are picking up passengers which made no sense surly she would know who is on the tour and also there was only 2 seats left on the minibus. No one got on the first stop and at at second stop again no one got on but the driver got out and had a coffee which was really shocking to see. We arrived at Christ the redeemer at 9am and waiting for Patrica to get the tickets so was about 9.40 by the time we got up to the statue which it opens at 8am so how can you call this tour early access?? I was really annoyed paying £90 for a tour which states early access for it not to be in the slightest. Sugarloaf was great and the bbq buffet was tasty so the actual tour itself is great but just really disappointing that you don’t actually get what you pay for. I recommend changing the name of this tour because it’s very misleading the whole reason I booked this tour was to get to the statue early to avoid the crowds so if this is what you’re after I strongly recommend you avoid this tour.
