Although a very long day it was worth it. Our tour director, Herman, was very knowledgeable and funny. Butchart Gardens was extremely interesting and the 2 hours we spent there was just about right. Victoria Island is very interesting. We spent about 2 1/2 hours in downtown Victoria, which was much larger than we expected and would like to visit again in the future for a few days. the ferry was 1 1/2 hours each way but they did had good food available and wonderful views. Excellent full day tour.

I honestly enjoyed Jessica’s solo almost as much as the gardens. I would recommend the tour. The smaller bus was nice.

The mixing of the different flowers helped us when we get home. For example what colors went together well also what plants go well together.

Butchart Gardens were spectacular & we aren't even garden people. Lunch at the Bard & Banker was the whole package...... great service & ambience with delicious & cheap food.

We were blessed with an excellent tour guide, Jack, and a very cooperative bus group, which always returned to the bus on time. The shuttle to bus and bus to shuttle process worked seamlessly. The ferry rides were long but smooth. The Gardens were beautiful and made for numerous photos and videos. The Mediterranean Garden at the end of the path is optional, if time runs short. It is advisable to plan ahead how to spend the limited time in Victoria, especially if you have limitations on your ability to negotiate the uneven terrain. The day is long (14 hours from pickup to final dropoff), but I would recommend this tour.

This day trip from the Wall Center Sheraton exceeded our expectations! Our guide and driver, Senan Magennis, gave us excellent commentary, building in appropriate break time so that we could absorb our knowledge, and rest a bit too. From the beginning of our journey he communicated all that we would see and experience and gave us a nice timeline of the day ahead. His knowledge of the area’s history was absolutely exceptional, especially since he is a native of Ireland. He definitely goes the extra mile to make all tour participants feel at ease, and he was a very safe driver as well!
