We did this tour with Gabriel. He was a very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. The places that we went on the tour were lovely and interesting. Half way through the tour it started raining and he kindly gave us his umbrella while he got soaked. He really looked after us!

What an excellent trip! Can't say enough about this tour! It was very personable and unlike any other tour we have been on. Our guide, Calle and the second driver, Bianca were just amazing. Absolutely enjoyed the day. While my husband Dan was able to enjoy the entire experience, I have some mobility issues. However, Calle and Bianca were so accommodating and made extra efforts to ensure I was able to experience as much as I could. We had been to Sigtuna once before, but this trip was much better and we learned so much more. Very highly recommend it!!

Our tour guide Emma was very knowledgeable and funny. I seldom book organized tours, but locating and getting to Runriket, plus learning about those rural sites, would be very time-consuming in a short tour. Highly recommended if you have a genuine interest in the pre- and early Christian history of Sweden.

We really enjoyed the experience of learning about and visiting Viking sites in Sweden. The tour guides were extremely knowledgable and provided interesting commentary about the sites we visited. It was great to be part of a small group tour and have the individualized attention. We also loved the variety of sites we visited.

A really good day out learning a lot about Viking history and the early settlers in the region. Our guide was super awesome and friendly. Took us through a lot of details. We had an extra driver for ourselves who was really the cherry on top. She was amazing and kept taking us to other points of interest which were not part of the normal tour. It was an amazing experience all in all.

Customer Support was excellent- I asked if they would accommodate a single ticket instead of the normal minimum of 2. Not only was this OK’d before the trip, but the price was adjusted accordingly well in advance. Excellent service by tourist bus-thanks Kris. Gabriel not only gave an excellent historical context for the Viking runes but gave interesting tidbits about Stockholm and Swedish society as we drove. He has a great personality for touring and I enjoyed his humor. Also a big shout out to our group that day- everyone was punctual- I’m not normally a tour type tourist but it was a very copacetic group. Thank you Viator :)

This was a great tour. Extremely beautiful and informative. Not sure how we could have done it better. Emma, the tour guide, was great!

Gabriel, our guide made our day interesting by the clear way he imparted information, the linear manner of the delivery of this information and by the placing of it all in the historical context of the time. He knew his history and made sure any preconceptions were put to rest. He answered questions in a considered manner and took time to make sure we knew what he meant. We appreciated the visit to the ‘new’ Uppsala Cathedral after seeing the old one. Again, it helped put things in context. We appreciated learning about the rune stones and their development. The bus was comfortable- a good day.

I had to skip it (covid), but husband went solo and loved it. Angus was personable and knowledgeable and hubby had a great time. Many thanks to trip operator for arranging special timing to accommodate our cruise ship’s wacky docking and departing times. Will do again if I ever find myself in Stockholm without covid…
