Know More about this tour

When your cruise ship docks in Villefranche, near Nice, youll be picked up from the port by your guide and taken on a full-day shore excursion to Eze and Monaco.

Aboard a minivan with your small group, admire views of the French Riviera as you travel for 15 minutes up the Mediterranean coast to your first stop, Eze, a colorful cobblestone village perched on a hill overlooking the sea.

The highlight of this lovely medieval town is the Fragonard perfumery, famous around the world for its exquisite perfumes. Learn about the fine French art of perfume making on a tour, and browse products in the boutique. Before leaving Eze, take time to wander around town and pop into local shops and galleries.

Back in your minivan, continue up the coast and through the village of La Turbie, referred to as the 'Terrace of Monaco.' Look out for the Trophy of the Alps (Trophe des Alpes), a notable ancient Roman monument built by Emperor Augustus.

Arrive in must-see Monaco for the second part of your tour. This glitzy, glamorous principality the second-smallest country in the world behind the Vatican is known for its grand boulevards, impressive hotels, chic boutiques, yacht-filled harbor and gorgeous Mediterranean scenery.

Head to the Princes Palace (Palais Princier) to watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony, and then have free time to grab lunch in Monaco-Ville, known as Le Rocher or The Rock. Situated on a rocky outcrop extending into the sea, the medieval village boasts sweeping views over the Monaco Port and Monte Carlo.

Continue your tour to historic Monaco Cathedral, sometimes referred to as the St-Nicholas Cathedral, where Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace of Monaco are buried. Youll also have time to visit the Oceanographic Museum if you wish (own expense).

Feel like a race car driver as you cruise down the Circuit de Monaco, the street used as the world-famous Formula One Grand Prix racetrack. Then explore Casino Square by foot and make a photo stop outside of the Casino of Monte Carlo, facing the extravagant Hotel de Paris, Caf de Paris and several luxury boutiques.

Its then time to hit the road back to Villefranche, where your full-day shore excursion ends at the port.

I can't say enough about out tour and especially our guide Thin, We had an unforgettable day. Thin explained so much to us about the region and the history. Because we were a small group he was able to move things around and circumvent the weather. We saw everything we wanted and more. Thank you Thin for making the first day of our trip so memorable.

Fantastic guide made this tour over the top, literally , as we wound around beautiful scenic drives up the hills for gorgeous views below. Every area was breathtaking-yachts and condos in the 30million dollar range were fun to see on the beautiful blue water. Also got to see changing of guard at Monte Carlo but allowed in only to front touristy small casino. Our party of 4 all agreed this was a very worthwhile tour.

We had an amazing tour, our guide Brett was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He took us to Eze and gave us plenty of time to see the town. Then took us to a tour of how perfume is made. We stopped on the way to Monaco to see it from above the hills. We were dropped off at Monaco to be on our own for a few hours. He then picked us up and drove us to a look out point were you could take pictures with Monaco below us. Great memories with a great tour guide, thank you Brett!

We were a group of 6 aging from 68-74. Irene our guide and driver was absolutely fantastic! The tour was beautiful, educational, moderately paced and fun! Irene's driving skills were phenominal. She gave us plenty of time to enjoy every stop. There are a lot of steps to climb at Eze but well worth it! Thank you Irene!

Driver was half an hour late which a poor start. There were a dozen drivers for same company at the meeting point and many were on time so this was pot luck. Actual tour was good, we spent the right amount of time at each stop and packed a lot in, really enjoyed the day and I would recomend

    Enjoyable day!

This was just a great day and we feel as though we maximized our time in port. Our tour guide, Marion was excellent and again, the small group situation made for a much better experience. Overall, i would recommend taking small group tours whenever possible, regardless of the destination. The castle in Eze was excellent and the gardens at the top were beautiful and the views were spectacular. After this we went to the perfume factory, which I could have skipped and not missed it. Mostly just an opportunity to sell stuff. Monaco was great. We basically walked this ourselves and then Marion took us over to the Monte Carlo Casino which was a very cool.

We were a family of 4 with another couple so a total of 6 people on the tour. We were picked up from the port for a 7 hour tour. It was a little foggy so our tour guide Renaud did a great job of re-routing us so we could get the best views. Reno was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to accommodate us to see as much as we could and took family photos along the way. Great day!

Jennifer was knowledgeable and very pleasant. We started our day in Villefranche, then onto Eze and Monaco. Villefranche was quaint and friendly. Eze was an amazing experience and the view from the garden atop Eze spans from Villefranche to Cannes. Monaco is exactly what you'd expect. Along the way Jennifer gave us wonderful insight.
