We did both the Southern and Northern route. Seeing Stellenbosch wineries were absolutely worth it. Our driver Marshall was prompt and informative as well as being very friendly and witty. You have enough time to enjoy the wineries and surroundings as well as getting a little bit jolly (if you would like of course). It is perfect for wine lovers all over and serves wines from Pinotage to Sauvignon Blanc. I would highly recommend and I am very much looking forward to doing it again.

Keaneroy, our driver, was helpful and did everything he could to ensure we had a great afternoon on the hop-on hop-off tour. We enjoyed tastings in two vineyards. This is not a personalised tour and there are schedules to keep to. If you understand this you won't be disappointed.

If you, like most people, are in Stellenbosch for sampling its world famous wines, then why bother and plan an individual tour with the hassle of finding to drive you from A to B, if you can simply book a tour on the legendary Vinehopper? The tour offers multiple routes with an ecclectic choice of winemakers, ranging from chic upper class estates to more familiar down-to-earth places. The tour offers the flexibility of leaving out estates in order to focus on the ones most interesting to you and a very cool side-effect is meeting new people from all over the world, while getting merrier from stop to stop. Highly recommended and very popular for a reason!

We had a great day with Ronny. He was a super guide and made our bus into a family🥰 He takes into account the tastes and preferences of the people in the bus, this is definitely recommended!

We had a very good time on our vine hopper tour with Ronny. We visited 4 out of 6 possible venues, which was more than enough for us. Our guide was very helpful by choosing the right vineyards for us and managed the tour perfectly according to our individual requirements. We would definitively recommend the tour and specifically want to thank Ronny for the great time we had!!

We had quite a private tour, only one other couple. Ronny our driver was the best: High energy, funny, positive and he amended the tour to suit our wishes. In the end we have been to Nedlingshof, KleineZalze, Alto and Haskells which we all loved from the vines as well as the scenery. Thank you, Ronny!

So, we were picked up my Marschall from our guest house and immediately knew it was going to be a cracking day! Marschall’s humour and guidance was wonderful and we explored 5 of the southern vineyards. We had enough time to do 5 tastings in each one but spent longer at Haskell because the views were just simply stunning!! We met other like minded ‘winies’ and had such the craic and laughter! It’s amazing what a wee drop of the good stuff can do for bringing strangers together!! Like most vineyards in South Africa, you just can’t go wrong!! Marschall looked after us all day and honestly, it’s one of the best wine tours we’ve ever had!! Thanks Marschall and the Welsh and German gang who made it a stunning day!! Colin and Joseph
