Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel in the morning, then drive to the famous Badaling Great Wall, which is 60 miles away from Beijing downtown about 1.5 hours driving. Go hiking on the Badaling Great Wall for about 2-3 hours. (Optional : you can also choose cable car to get to the highest point to have a bird view.)  Being one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world, it was built as an ancient military defense project which was actually worked in the history.
Visit scenic spots: Badaling Geat Wall, Badaling fortress, beacon-towers, "looking-toward Beijing stone", etc.

Drive to restaurant for lunch. After lunch, visit the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden- Summer Palace. It is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. It is a blend of natural scenery and artificial landscape. The mountains, waters and architecture together form picturesque scenes that are amazingly beautiful. UNESCO declared The summer palace a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design".
Visit scenic spots: 1. East palace gate, 2. the hall of benevolence and longevity, 3. hall of jade billows, 4. the hall of joyful longevity, 5. the covered walkway, 6. the marble boat, etc.

    In questo piacevole Tour siamo stati accompagnati dai simpatici Ming e Feng Pei Zeng ( Giuseppe ). Abbiamo visitato la Grande muraglia cinese, città proibita, palazzo d’estate, i panda allo zoo, tempio Tibetano, cimitero imperiale, via imperiale, parco olimpico e tempio del celo. Tutto questo in 2 giorno. Complimenti alle due guide, dove si sono rilevante molto professionali.

    We took the private tour with Mike and he was just awesome. He spoke English and Chinese which was helpful as I was traveling with my English speaking girlfriend. He was prepared and was able to explain history and was very conversational during lulls such as being in traffic or etc. He handled all the private transportation and was flexible with what we wanted to see in the afternoon.     We had an amazing tour with our guide and driver. Our tour guide Jade was amazing she went out of her way to explain not only the history of the places we visited but also gave us meanings and historical facts about the places that a lot of tours don't. It was was very very informative and her English was really good. We had booked a private tour and had the whole mini bus to ourselves it was on time and very clean. Our visit to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace were also excellent and at no time were we rushed, in fact it was the opposite, our guide wanted us to see things and explain the history. We even had time to go to a couple of places that weren't on the tour. We went to a tea house and again we learnt so much about the qualities of tea and their healing powers. I would definitely recommend China Tours and would not hesitate to use them again, the service and quality of the tours were excellent value for money.
