Anastasios was a great guide and it was a very memorable day-trip out to the monasteries. Although the drive is quite long, Anastasios was very hospitable and offered cold water, food and juice to us throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour for the monasteries and to see the Greek countryside, you will definitely not regret it.

Amazing experience! We got to see many sights even though the cave was closed the day we went. Anastasios was great!!

meteora is absolutely magical, a must see if you’re in greece. we’re not old enough to rent out a car, so i’m really glad to have found this tour on airbnb. pan was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and we enjoyed the day a ton :) although the cave was currently undergoing excavation and blocked off to the public, we were still able to visit the nearby museum which was super interesting. definitely recommend this experience!

Alexandros was an excellent driver and host . He was very informative with historic and mythological information of the area visited. The Meteora area is amazing and a once in a life time experience. The local restaurant where we had lunch was delicious. We were very happy with experience.

Great day. Pick up was spot on time. Meteora is a sight not to be missed. Lunch was also a nice break and the food was great. Highly recommend this trip and being in a small group was so much nicer than a large tour bus!!

The visit to Meteora was spectacular ant it was an amazing and worthwhile experience. While there are a lot of steps into the monasteries, they are easily navigated with a modest level of fitness The Spartan battlefield was a little less impressive just a monument on the side of the road and interesting story from the guide Also included was a brief stop at a nearby sulphur hot water waterfall. A little more time at this spring and some advance notice would allow time to take a dip if required. The Homo sapiens cave is closed at the moment and we weren’t advised of this until we were almost there. A brief stop at a small museum for the cave wasn’t really the same. Minibus was good with only 3 of us travelling but a full tour bus would be cosy! Fiat minibus with 8 seats a plus driver/guide You pay extra for admission tickets and your own lunch, but plenty of water and soft drinks supplied. All told it is a long trip with a lot of driving, but you get to see the countryside and the experience of Meteora is the highlight of our visit to Athens

The weather was perfect. Our tour guide arrived at our hotel early. He greeted us with friendliness and enthusiasim. Our transportation was very clean and nice ....a Benz. He had snacks and drinks for us. He was a very safe driver and explained things to us as we toured. We had a great time visiting the sites and never was rushed. The sites were fantastic! We stopped for lunch at a great restaurant that had a great view of the monasteries. A great day and a must see places. The battlefield of the 300 Spartans was really great. Great tour. Than you! . .
