Had an amazing experience checking out San Juan, San Pedro, and Santiago! Benjamin was a great guide and showed us parts of Lake Atitlan we wouldn’t have discovered ourselves.

What an amazing experience! We came away from our beautiful day with so much understanding of Guatemalan culture and history! While we toured coffee, chocolate, and textiles, we also spent time off the beaten path that we never would have found on our own. Our guide was kind, funny and full of knowledge! Definitely recommend if you come to Guatemala!

We had a super fantastic time with Salvador on a 3-town tour of Lake Atitlan. First, Salvador was very easy to get a hold of, and arrange the trip through emails & payment. He arranged to pick us up right at our Airbnb in Santiago Atitlan, where he arranged a boat driver to take us to Panajachel. There, we visited several markets, had a break for delicious coffee and then traveled across the lake to San Juan La Laguna. We walked several streets in San Juan and then also had a special tour at a women's weaving cooperative. We had plenty of time to shop as well, if we wished. He never hurried us. He was also always mindful to tell us to watch our step, or make sure we were safe getting in and out of the boat. Salvador, during the time together, shared about his own history, his family story, his background, his favorite things to do, and his dreams for the future. He was polite, considerate, funny, informative, and fun to spend six hours with. Our final stop was Santiago Atitlan, where we got more of the history of Salvador's city. He explained several aspects of town art to us, and showed us the historic church. He chose an excellent place for lunch with options for typical Guatemalan food or American food. He walked us back to our Airbnb too! We would highly recommend working with Salvador on any tour. He's very capable & helpful that he's fluent in English.

Elena, our tour guide was excellent. She was very helpful and adapted the pace for our 2 and 6 years old kids to also have fun. The boat ride is an amazing opportunity to enjoy the landscape and relax.
