Know More about this tour

Begin your Segway adventure on one of Waikikis most stunning beaches Kahanamoku beach! Before you get started, each guest will receive individual training by professional Segway guides so you can effortlessly and safely navigate your Segway Personal Transporter. Riding a Segway is similar to getting on an escalator at a department store - it's slightly wobbly the first time you step onboard, but you can easily learn to navigate the Segway!

When youre comfortable on your Segway, youll start your journey. Glide past the renowned Waikiki beach, and enjoy the scenic views of the clear blue water and glorious sunshine. Continue zipping along Kalakaua Avenue, where youll see Waikikis famous resorts The Royal Hawaiian Hotel and the Moana Surfrider.

As you continue traveling down the streets of Waikiki, youll see the Duke kahanamoku statue, the Waikiki aquarium, the Natatorium and the beautiful banyan trees in Kapiolani park, located at the bottom of Diamond head volcano. Your guide will stop for approximately 3-5 minutes at each location, offering pertinent information about Waikiki and its surroundings.

Go down Diamond head Road and zip past the million-dollar homes, and then head towards the historic Diamond head Lighthouse and the Amelia Earhart lookout. Arrive at the second lookout point, where youll enjoy magnificent views of Koko head Crater and see Molokai Island and the Leeward Coast of Oahu in the distance. Step off your Segway, take in the fantastic views and learn about the area from your guide.

Then, take the coastal route back to Waikiki, and feel free to ask your guide to make stops along the way to take pictures or get additional information about key landmarks. The Segway allows you to see so much more than you would on a walking tour, but still enjoy the fresh air and sunshine as you travel, unlike you would on a bus. Its the perfect way to sightsee!

Friendly family owned company. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly!! Great way to see the sites!!

Michael and Aaron from the Kaka’ako branch were amazing guides and fun to be with. They offered to take photos of us during the tours and gave us a bit of history, a bit of culture and a bit of freedom. Consider doing a Segway tour from Kaka’ako district instead of Waikiki. They take you out from the main strip and on paths less populated that you can go faster on. You’ll see public beaches outside of the Waikiki area. They also allow you to let the Segway go wild in a huge nature reserve - really fun and freeing! I definitely recommend Segway of Hawaii - Kaka’ako!!

Great experience. There were eight of us and the staff were wonderful. Very kind, knowledgeable, patient, accommodating and friendly group who were interested in helping with other experiences in the area.

We had to audible and do a different tour. BUT it was really fun and totally different than I expected. It was nice going to a less crowded area and exploring things we never would have if we didn't go on this tour! Highly recommend and they have great communication!

A few days before our tour, they called and said the Diamond Head tour hq was not available and gave us the option to switch to Magic Island glide. We were first time segway users, so the Magic Island path was actually wider and had less people which was better for us. Our tour guide, Michael, was very educated in the physical pathway we took (especially since we were beginners), always kept watch on us for our safety, and was educated in the Magic Island/Kaka'ako area. He also helped take pictures for us which is always appreciated. Lots of beautiful views and good segway experience.

The tour was changed to magic island instead of diamond head. It’s still a great experience. The beach is beautiful and very less pedestrian.

  • 12-May-2022

We had a great experience, Aaron was very knowledgeable and fun, love it all. Beautiful scenes a lot of fun.

  • 06-May-2022

Thank you, we had never been on a Segway tour so was a bit apprehensive but Aaron, and Mike spent time ensuring we were all confident enough before leaving. My wife found it at first but was escorted until her confidence had improved, a special thanks to Aaron for rescuing my broken glasses which I had dropped and run were run over, I have now fixed them… sort of.

Instead of touring Diamondhead, we toured the city and the local beaches. It was a wonderful tour. We had so much fun riding the Segways. Our tour guide Aaron was very knowledgeable and he made the tour fun.

We had to adjust our tour due to issues at the Marriott location. Michael was thorough in our instruction and took us for a nice ride giving us highlights of the sites through an earpiece. Nice touch with the music Michael 😃
