We had an enjoyable tour with Julia. We walked past the Colosseum, and saw the Arche Scaligere, Piazza del Signori, Piazza delle Erbe and Juliet's House. We learned about the architecture in Verona and the symbols used to indicate support for the Holy Roman Empire (and not for the Papal States). This tour covered about half of Verona's main attractions and did so with an economical use of time.

Meeting place was clearly indicated. Met Francesco - our tour guide - with no issues. Tour was great and informative. Even at times Francesco's historical facts included humour. Completely entertaining. He really knew his city. English was excellent. I was with a friend who lives in Italy and she loved it too.

Maria Pia took us on an excellent tour. I highly recommend it.

The only I gave this tour 2 stars is because we did not exactly know where to meet and the Piazza Bra. So we found an English group by the statue, right time we stood with the group no one asked for a receipt so we thought we were with the right get group and only half way thru we found out this was a Danish group and asked us to leave. We never did find our group. I would ask that they have better instructions for meeting.

We had a great time on this tour. Katia spelling? was our guide and she was wonderful. The tour ended up being only my husband and I, but we loved it this way even the better. Katia showed us the main points and took us to see ruins below the city level under places we would have never imagined. She also recommended places to eat to try the local food and to experience more of the ruins my husband and I love to try different foods from around the world.

The only thing we did not understand, and neither did our tour guide, was why Viator stated a dress code on the voucher for no jeans or tennis shoes - as much as I love to dress up, I cannot imagine walking through cobble stones wearing nice shoes and not hurting at the end of the day. However, this issue is not with the tour guide or the tour company but with Viator. They need to review their dress code guidelines. Unless the tour involves a church, then I do not understand the need for a dress code.
