Enjoy this full-day tour of Florence and Chianti Roads and immerse yourself in the art and architecture of the Renaissance on a walking tour of Florence and visit the Tuscan countryside in the same day.

Know More about this tour

Meet your guide in the center of Florence. Alternatively, if youre staying in Montecatini, Lucca, or Pisa, start your tour with a transfer to Florence. Once your group is together, youll set off on your 1.5-hour tour of the Tuscan city.

As you take in landmarks such as the Ponte Vecchio, Florence Duomo and Brunelleschis Dome, listen to your guide to learn about the citys centuries-old history. Stroll through the Uffizi courtyard, and admire the ornate doors of Florence Baptistery, which Michelangelo nicknamed the Gates of Paradise.

After your walking tour, enjoy a light lunch of pizza or pasta. Then return to your transport to travel out of the city and into the rolling Chianti hills.

Soak up the scenery as you travel, and stop at a charming Chianti wine estate to tour the cellars, learn about wine production, and sample the wine. Travel onward to the medieval walled city of Monteriggioni for your second tasting, and take a look inside the town's fortress. Then relax on your return journey to Florence.

The walking tour was very good. Our guide Alice was very knowledgeable. Lunch was a bit rushed but nice. The wine tour was very good, tasted some wonderful wine. Got to see the tax any area without any pressure. Great day.

Walking tour was interesting and informative and the vineyards visited were good. The included lunch was also good value. I would have liked to have visited the castle earlier in the day though say in-between the two vineyards we visited as most areas were closed when we arrived. Overall though a great trip

Great insight into downtown portion of Florence. Beautiful scenery on the way to the wine tasting. Great tour.

Both tours good BUT do not do them together. We should have had a lunch but by the time we got to the restaurant after the walking tour only had time to rush our drink and eat only a small amount of pizza. The chianti tour was a good 15 mins walk from the restaurant and was told to be their for the bus at 2.30 only arrived at the restaurant at 13.50 and they had to cook fresh. This spoilt our day.

The walking tour portion was absolutely amazing, easy to follow and not too hard for me as I had already crammed my vacation full of walking and tours! The history you learn walking through the streets is so awesome and you definitely see important sites! The guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions, and her English was great as we were all able to understand her very easily! The Chianti tour is very nice also- you visit two wineries and a fort city atop a hill with beautiful views to end the day and do some quick shopping if you want. The wineries offered different tips about wine and/or food and pairings as well as samplings of their other products many wineries also make olive oil and truffle oil! Great tour and the owners and families at both wineries were friendly, spoke English very well and will even ship to you!

The walking tour of Florence was so informative. At times it was hard to get through the crowds but our guide made sure she had us with her and spoke for all to hear and asked questions. She transferred us to our lunch which was included.
I do wish we had more time to eat, this was a BIG issue. We had to rush our food - run to train station to be on time and then had to wait in a long line to check in - tour left late. They do need more then one person checking people in here to move things along or give more time to eat lunch!
The excursion out to the wine country was run well once on the bus. We toured 2 vineyards and were given many different wines to taste as well as cheese, meats and bread. All very tasty. The first vineyard was great - relaxed. The second a bit crowded and rushed.

The walking tour was great. Was able to meet some new people, as well as ask questions easily. Lunch was good. Meeting up at the train station was easy. The bus to the wineries had AC. The group was large, but we still for in both wineries tasting rooms. Castle was cool Great trip for the price

The walking tour was nice, and very informative. However the restaurant was not ready for us to have lunch. So they only offered us a selection of pizzas because their pizza cook happened to be in. The second part of the tour was the wine tastings and the day was about 9 hours long. Not as expected

My Tour are an extremely disorganised tour group company. The company stuffed up our pickup location and never collected us. We had to do the walking tour the next day and just made the winery tour. Our guide arianna was not at all knowledgeable and we were always kept waiting and very late back
