We had passed this area several times before and assumed it was just about horse racing. It is actually part and parcel of British military history as well as the existence of Roundheads and Royalists and why there was the emigration to this colony as it was then.. History from a knowledgeable Guide. Cromwell may not have come here but others did. We toured the Garrison area and ended up in the Museum. Water and snacks, stops in the shade by our considerate Guide, made this a rather enjoyable Tour.

My tour guide was new and in training and he did an excellent job.
This tour is packed full of information and took about 2.5 hours. I am really glad I chose this tour. You even get a little snack pack and a bottle of water in a draw string backpack. You can choose to listen on headphones or listen to your guide. I chose to listen to my guide.
