Know More about this tour

We start the trip by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. The museum is active in the thematic research, collection, storage, preservation and display of the material, photographs, artifacts on the evidence of the crime and the consequences of the war. Within are over 20,000 documents, exhibits and films, in which more than 1,500 documents, artifacts, films have been applied to introduce in eight thematic exhibitions frequently.

After visiting the museum, we will continue on to the tunnels. Located 60km from HCMC, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone."

  • My husband and I were extremely surprised by all the information we received, we had no idea that the Americans has committed such horrific crimes against the Vietnamese.

  • A nice snapshot of all the interesting places in the City and Cu Chi tunnels was very interesting.

  • I thought this was a relatively good tour. The tour guide I think his name was MT had great English and was really funny. Personally, I think both of these spots are places people, especially Americans, should visit if in Ho Chi Minh City.
The place we ate was delicious and we even stopped for some weasel coffee.

  • I had just one day in the city and the tour covered all. The tour guide Huay was well informed and kept us engaged through the tour. I wish they would give some more time for the War Remanant museum but then they had to manage everything in one day. The stop at the workshop for war rehabilitated was wonderful. Beautiful lacquer and mother of pearl artifacts.
