Know More about this tour

Make your own way to theGreat Portland Street Tube Station in central London, and then settle into your comfortable seat aboard a luxury coach and travel to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter. After roughly an hour on the road, arrive and head inside to see the magical sets, costumes, and props that helped turn J.K. Rowlings best-selling Harry Potter novels into one of the most successful film series in the world.

Following in the footsteps of Harry, Hermione, and Ron, spend the next 3.5 hours independently exploring the studios. Wander along Diagon Alley and pose in front of Ollivanders wand shop, the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, and more. Visit, too, the Ministry of Magic, where you can learn about the mythical government that rules the Harry Potter community.

Find out about the animatronics and makeup that breathed life into Dobby and the Death Eaters, as well as the special effects that created wizardry in the Great Hall and Dumbledores office. Then, make for Platform 9 , where you can pose with the disappearing luggage trolley and see steam billowing from the original Hogwarts Express train. Should you feel hungry during your visit, you can purchase lunch at the Studio Caf or enjoy butterbeer and snacks in the backlot (own expense).

Next, return to your coach and continue to Oxford. On arrival in the City of Dreaming Spires, meet a guide and stretch your legs on a walking tour. Stroll down streets lined with grand, timeworn buildings and see ivy-strewn colleges, hidden passageways, grand dining halls, and lavish libraries including Christ Church College, the Bodleian Library, and other famous sights.

After your tour, enjoy some free time to continue sightseeing independently before heading back to your coach and returning to London, where your tour concludes at the original start point.

  • arrive early to get the most out of the trip

  • Great tour, knowledgeable guide. We went to Oxford in the morning and were lucky with the weather. The studio was amazing, though I am an adult I enjoyed every minute there

  • The studio is a delightful experience for Harry Potter fans. Going to Oxford was not on our radar, but I loved it and was so glad that we picked this tour. The British tour guide in Oxford was awesome and made the experience. I particularly enjoyed seeing where CS Lewis lectured and the inspirations for Aslan, Mr. Tumnus and the lamp post outside his office.

  • Nice day trip. The Warner Bros. Studio Harry Potter is amazing. I'm not a true HP fan, but truly appreciated and enjoyed the day there.

  • Worth watching tour, especially for children

Oxford is fascinating and stunningly beautiful. I was surprised at all the history and the miles of libraries underground!

Harry Potter....BEYOND WORDS! It really encapsulated the whole feeling of the movies, the sets, props, locations....and you even can take photos/cd of you riding a broomstick to play Quidditch! It is self guided with audio. But be careful, you can get so wrapped up in the videos and sets, that you might end up short on time to see it all and get butter beer!!!
    Best part of our trip!

  • I super enjoyed this tour! Oxford was absolutely beautiful. Our local guide, Debbie, was really fun, and threw in a lot of Harry Potter trivia as we walked around the university. I wish we could have spent the whole day there. But of course, we couldn't miss the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, which was also amazing. It was my second time there, but I don't think I'll ever get tired of going back and exploring all the sets and props and costumes. Plus, the newly added Forbidden Forest was awesome! Harry Potter fans should definitely go on this tour!

  • I'm writing this review late we went in February, but my son and I LOVED the Warner Bros Studio tour, we weren't as excited about the Oxford portion of the tour but that was more due to personal preference than the performance of the guide. The bus ride was comfortable and the guide did a nice job of keeping things on time.

  • Good tour of the studios as a quick guide. Not enough time to go through it all if you are a Harry Potter fan. Would recommend visiting Warner bros a second time to be able to take your time and see it all at your own pace. Oxford was lovely and if you are a Harry Potter fan, I would recomend visiting the New University in your free time to get photos of the famous tree Draco jumps from in the Goblit of Fire.

  • Harry Pottr was excellent. 5 stars to it 0 stars to rest of the tour. The tour directors were a let down, no knowledge of anything as we were passing like in all our oher tours which made it a very long boring day. Wuld recommend getting your own way to Harry Potter
