The Washington D.C. Segway Night Tour is the only way to see DC at sunset and at night. Be part of it and not stuck behind bus windows listening to boring commentary. Instead ride a Segway and you'll see DC as it was meant to be enjoyed!

Your tour begins with a 30-minute training session to learn the basics of maneuvering the Segway scooter. Once under way, visit Washington D.C. highlights, including: the U.S. Capitol Building, the White house, the National museum of natural history, Ford's Theater, the Washington monument, and many more!

Your tour guide also takes you past the National gallery of art, the National museum of american history, and the U.S. Navy Memorial. Throughout the tour, the guide provides both the history and stories surrounding the sites and makes sure plenty of photo opportunities are available.

All tours are limited in size with 1 guide so you can count on a great, intimate experience. Discover what it's like to be a celebrity as everyone turns to watch you glide by!

The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds or over 250 pounds

Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride

Changes in tour route may be necessary due to construction and security related issues

Minimum age is 16 years

Riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or authorized guardian

City Segway Tours requires everyone to complete a liability waiver (those under 18 must have an adult sign for them)

Each party must also complete a damage waiver that includes leaving a credit card on file for the duration of the tour. Please have one person in your party bring a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover to complete this waiver.

Wear comfortable shoes. While you're not walking, you are on your feet for three hours! Don't bring too many belongings with you. The Segways are equipped with very small bags for cameras and small purses. You may wish to wear sunscreen on sunny days, and bring rain gear and/or warm clothing for days that are looking like it might rain or will be cool (the temperature tends to be cooler near the lake)

    A wonderful way to see many of the key sights in a short period of time aboard your own Segway! Narration from our fun, friendly, informed guide Maddie truly made the tour one of the best we have taken. Walking what we covered in the heat of the day would have been impossible. Zipping down Pennsylvania to the WH and the Capital then back down the Mall to see Lincoln was truly a "breeze"! And the monuments lit are a sight not to be missed. Thanks for a memorable evening!

    This was by far the best guided tour of any attraction that my wife and I have ever experienced! First, the Segway device is wonderful: easy to learn and fun to drive. It provides the ability to move quickly from attraction to attraction along the tour. Our tour covered three hours, and we visited literally dozens of attractions along the National Mall. We traveled in a group of eight persons plus our tour guide, Simon. Simon was amazing. Not only is he very proficient in operating the Segway and training us on how to use it we were rookies, but he was most knowledgeable about the attractions and their history. We highly recommend this experience. At the cost of about 75 per person, it is a bargain!

    The best way to see a town, My husband and I did a Washington DC Segway Night tour of the Monuments at the beginning of Sept. Our tour guide was informed and made the experience so much fun. I found this was so much better than the bus tour as we were able to go at our own pace, stop when we wanted to, walk around the various monuments and taking a photo opt when we wanted to. Our guide also shared a wonderful little place to grab a bite to eat after the tour ended that was within walking distance from their shop. We had a blast and will definitely do this again!

    Had a blast riding the Segways! Saw White House, Treasury, Navy Memorial, Capitol, Smithsonian complex, Washington Monument, WWII memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Viet Nam Memorial, Korean War Memorial. The last 3 were after dark, and the Lincoln Memorial all lit up and the view down the mall was amazing. Good tour guide, but some of the information given while we were riding was unintelligible over the speakers on the Segway, especially when we were in traffic. Even though part of our tour was in the rain, it was very fun.

    We love riding on Seaways they are a great way to cover ground quickly to see lots of places.
    Our guide was good, we were lucky as it was just the 2 of us with the guide so we covered a lot of ground and could tailor the tour to suit us. Definitely worth doing this tour.

    This tour was amazing, from the moment we arrived, they already had our release paperwork ready to go, and after a quick lesson how to ride, we were underway. Our tour guide was so fun and gave lots of information about what to see in Washington DC. We really enjoyed this a lot.
