You will be walking along a very beatifull trail in the rainy mountains of Limon.The length of the trail is 1064 meters (3.490 feet) 3 suspension bridges will give you the opportunity to see the forest very closed to the canopy and appreciate wonderful things.Bridge number 1 is 37 meters (121 feet) long and 12 meters (39 feet high, bridge number 2 is 42 meters (137 feet) long and 19 meters (62 feet) high, and bridge number 3 is 67 meters (219 feet) long and 22 meters (72 feet) high.The tour begins with heliconias, some banana plants, and a old artisanal well. The beatiful rainforest is full of animal life. You can see howler monkeys, sloths, 3 types of frog and much more, also see Centennial trees with shafts of up to five meters thick.
we will pick you up and drive you to a smaller port named Moin, and here you will board a boat with rooftop and comfortable seats. That will lead you through the living jungle that stretches over the narrow canals, formed by the rivers born in the high mountains, making their way to the sea. Common sightings here are monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas and sloths. The canals are also considered a bird watchers paradise, so keep your eyes open! The canals of Tortuguero are without a doubt one of the main attractions in Costa Rica, and this is a unique opportunity to experience this natural wonder. You will pass through some of the countrys most fertile areas and learn about Costa Ricas main agricultural products. Along the way, you will see cocoa plantations and ornamental flowers.
Will be visit banana and chocolate plantations, your guide will provide you many interesting facts about this amazing fruit will be explained, including the crop, harvesting, processing, packing and exportation. Costa Rica is the second largest banana producer in the world
The last part will be a City tour in Port Limon, you will see important buildings like the first Bapthis Church in limon, the old train station, the main church in the town, the Big boy Stadium the only stadium of baseball in all the province.
Our last stop will be in Playa bonita (Pretty beach), on this stop you can drink sodas, smoothies, coctails or beer, also if you want you can eat something, I recommend you the Rice and Beans with caribean salse, or Patacones the local chips in Costa Rica made with Plantains
