  • I visited Casa de Shenandoah on Boxing Day for the Diamond Tour. I was picked up and taken back to my hotel when the tour was over which was great. Everything was so interesting that before I knew it, it was time to leave. The guides were fantastic - so interesting and friendly. I could have sat and watched the horse all afternoon. I will revisit when all the flowers on the grounds are in bloom.

  • Worth every dollar, entire tour went very smooth, and not rushed.our tour guides,Steve and Janet were superb.if you book,do the Diamond tour.Wayne Newtons life experiences and career are covered here.a humanitarian and humble person.if you're a fan,you won't regret it.why isn't there a movie of this most fascinating mans life ?

  • We were going to be in Las Vegas for a show and we are not big gamblers, so I thought I'd book a tour for us. We both grew up with Wayne Newton from the time he first started performing, so this seemed like a great tour. We were not disappointed. Within 10 minutes of booking our tour online, I received a phone call from Casa de Shenandoah to confirm the booking and make arrangements for us to be picked up at Treasure Island Casino. The details provided regarding the pickup locations, the shuttle bus description, etc. were impecable. On the day of our tour, our shuttle driver, Bob, was actually a little early to the pick up location and was most friendly and informative on the relatively short drive out to the Casa de Shenandoah Visitors Center. When we entered the Visitors Center, Florence welcomed us and professionally walked us through the online visitors release forms and details about the tour experience. There is a gift shop with some healthy and fun snacks available. I had read the tour details pretty closely online, so I brought bottled water and snacks for my husband and I. I highly recommend that you do this, especially if you take children with you. This is a great tour for families as there is a lot to interest visitors of all ages. Depending on the tour you take we took the Diamond tour, which was about 2.5 hours long, kids and adults will benefit from having some handy snacks and beverages in your purse or backpack. The entire team of tour guides was outstanding! We started off with a very interesting film in the visitors center which very nicely set the stage pun intended for what was to follow. Then we boarded a shuttle bus that took us over to the museum and Wayne's former tour airplane. Here we had a very friendly and knowledgable tour guide who graciously took photos for us and answered any and all questions the folks on our tour had about Mr. Newton or the many, many artifacts and awards that were on display in the museum and on the airplane. A highlight for most of the men on the tour was the automobile collections and the history behind each of the cars. As this portion of the tour concluded, Lisa, stepped forward and introduced herself as our guide for the next portion of the tour. Nice to note, again, especially if you will have children with you, is the availability of restrooms throughout the tour. All were modern and very clean. A set in the visitors center, and a set at the beginning and end of the museum. And even one in the Mansion. Our guide Lisa, was right up to par with the rest of the Casa de Shenandoah family: friendly, happy and loaded with information and interesting stories about Wayne and his family and career. And yes, Wayne is still performing in Vegas! Something I wish we had known before hand. When our tour ended, Bob was there to shuttle us back to our pickup spot. Could not have been a smoother, nicer or more interesting tour. Highly recommend, and last tip: if you will have children with you and you plan to see the horses and stables, be sure to ask your tour guide early if the kids will be able to feed one of the horses so they have some treats for the kids to give the horses.

  • Nice group of guides throughout the tour, The property is very cool and Wayne's history is amazing.
We brought ranch horse people from Washington state on the tour and they were a little bit disappointed in the horse show that was just one horse running around a small show sale stall for about 5 minutes. other than that. we had a great time. I would suggest the I believe diamond package which is a tour of all of everything and really not much more because I wouldn't want to have been the people that were told the next part of the tour was for the Diamond package people and they would be heading in a different direction.
The few extra bucks was worth it.

  • I enjoyed the ranch, it was beautiful. the horses were amazing, the guides were very good at explaining everything. I will do this tour again.

  • The tour was great, We took the platinum tour which included the grounds, the horses in the stable, the mansion and the gallery.I even got to take the picture with the horse. Our guide was Janet and she was so knowlegeable and we lived the experience through her. We
    really had a wonderful time.

  • Apart from being a great entertainer, Wayne Newton has done so many things for so many people, especially the service men and women in this country. Well done Wayne!!

  • This was a late add on so was not sure whatever to expect. We enjoyed learning about Wayne Newton and his career.
If you have some extra time, I would recommend this tour.

  • Great experience! I was running a bit late and the tour bus driver was kind enough to call me and then wait until I arrived at the pick up spot. The tour was very organized and our guide was fun and informative. The place is beautiful and seeing all of the horses on the property was so amazing. The museum was at the end of the tour but I was tired and did not want to stay long so it was nice that we were able to leave separately from the property to return to the main location. There was no bus there however and the staff had to arrange rides through Uber. I had to wait about 25 - 30 min. for Uber to arrive but was taken directly to my hotel instead of a nearby drop off location, which was nice. Overall a great experience and a very professional tour.

  • This was awesome. Even my husband had a good time and he isn't a fan. He learned a lot and enjoyed, The house is fantastic and so are the grounds. Seeing the horses was great. You can tell he is all showman by the way he keeps things. It was very interesting and a lot to learn. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and love what they do. We spent a few hours and enjoyed. We want to go back as you never see everything in one go. Well worth the money fan or no fan. Who knows maybe you will be by the end of the tour.
