Know More about this tour

Be ready for pickup at your Gran Canaria hotel at your appointed departure time for transfer to the harbor in Puerto Rico, where you'll board a glass-bottom boat purpose-built for dolphin and whale watching. As you set sail along the southwestern coast of the island, keep your eyes peeled for these beautiful animals as they breach the surface of the water or ride the waves. A multi-lingual crew will keep you updated on sightings and identify various species.

Between sightings, peer through the glass panels, located on both keels, to see the diversity of sea creatures below the surface. You might spot pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, green sea turtles, or flying fish. Upgrade to a 3-hour triptostop at a sheltered bay for a swim.

Dolphin sightings are guaranteed. If you don't see one on your trip, you'll get a free ticket to return for another trip whenever you want. Unlimited soft drinks are included.

  • We booked this trip before travelling to Gran Canaria, and it was the highlight of our week. The boat was well kept and spotlessly clean, the crew members were informative, helpful and kept us entertained throughout the trip.
Seeing the dolphins and some turtles and flying fish was amazing.
    Would highly recommend.
Avoid though if you get seasick - we went about 6 miles off the coast in search of the dolphins so it was a bit bumpy at times. This added to the fun for most passengers, but a few passengers got very seasick.

  • My 4th trip with this boat and apart from them never having heard of Viator and having no evidence of my booking we were eventually allowed on board. They kept saying no problem, dont worry but after 5 phone calls became 10 and the queue got longer I really wished that I had entrusted my booking elsewhere.
Once on board all was fab. Almost immediately I saw a green turtle as we headed out to see and left along the coastline. We met up with a few Minky whales and then a lone dolphin skimmed alongside which was beautiful. I had chosen the 3 hour tour which included a sea swim but I was the only person who took the plunge!! As ever the sea was far warmer than the hotel pools.
I had raved about this excusrsion to my friend and told her that it was a 'must do' even if it was the only trip of the holiday. Apart from the fiasco at the start all met her expectations - I am currently teaching her to swim at a spritely 70 years old so hopefully next time - if we an afford it, she too will have the pleasure of a deep water dip

  • Very helpful and friendly crew and staff

  • Wrong time of year. No possibility of whales, rough sea. I fell over and got VERY sick, By the time some dolphins were found all I saw was the insde of a plastic bag! All my own fault. Too little research beforehand. Crew were excellent and looked after a poorly old 73 man VERY well.No complaints.

  • Great time with good atmosphere :

  • great trip, pick up exactly on time and not far from our hotel. Boat trip good, saw dolphins. only down side was rough water and sickness but that can not be helped. good trip all around

  • We didn and #39;t spot any whales but we saw hundreds of dolphins! Don and #39;t risk getting sea sick,go to the local pharmacy and get motion sickness pills. They were inexpensive and we were all fine, unlike a lot of other people around us.
