Overview
Whale Watching in Jervis Bay with Dolphin Watch Cruises, is one of the BEST opportunities to have an encounter with migrating Humpback Whales in Australia. We are very proud of our experienced, professional and friendly crews, who are passionate about this special place and the marine life that lives in and visits Jervis Bay. We are fortunate enough to regularly see whales inside the bay, even with playful newborn calves using Jervis Bay as a nursery and playground. A whale watching cruise with us is an experience you will love!Know More about this tour
As you depart Huskisson and journey into Jervis Bay the captain will explain the safety details of the vessel and ensure that everyone is feeling safe and comfortable. The crystal clear waters home to the resident dolphins presents an early opportunity to have interaction with the wildlife.
When getting close to Point Perpendicular you can appreciate the rugged landscape that is Jervis Bay. The tallest sandstone cliffs on East Coast Australia provide a backdrop for your whale watching experience as all on board; passengers and crew work together to spot the migrating humpback whales.
When you find the giant mammals, the expert commentary provided by the Captain is easy to understand and informative. Facts about their size, habits and the history of the interaction of humans with whales in general and humpback specifically are provided to educate passengers along their journey.

It was a beautiful day out on the boat. Not too many whales around but the captain worked hard to find some mums and calves for us to see and also saw a few dolphins. The Eco Extreme boat fairly basic so no drinks, snacks etc and a fairly limited commentary. Nevertheless everyone cheerful and boat was on time, clean, tidy etc. An enjoyable couple of hours on the water!

Would have preferred to go on the larger boat. It was a bit choppy and we felt sick.
Saw a couple of Whales though and the staff were very friendly. -
This tour was run by Dolphin Watch Cruises and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the whales, they also offered the use of spray jackets. They tried their hardest to spot the whales but unfortunately the naughty whales did not make an appearance on this trip which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars but we did see a small pod of dolphins which was lovely to see.
