  This was a blast and highly recommend. Mario was our raft guide and was amazing. He was informative and fun. This was a first for all of us and we would all do it again. We saw 4 sloths, 2 iguanas, howler monkeys and several birds including Tucan’s. It is dry season so the Balsa river was low, which keeps the rapids more calm. The first half of the trip down river was class III and last half was class II and fairly calm in some spots. Our group enjoyed the experience and we thought the guides all spoke English very well.

  It was more a III IV level rafting. From the pick up to the rafting experience and the lunch, everything was perfect! Our guide Momo was amazing and we felt very safe on his raft. You will spend the day with real pros who love their job and will also tell you a lot about this Costa Rican area. Definitely a must do in Arenal

  We did the half day whitewater rafting with lunch and a demo of how sugar cane is processed. Jairo, Joseph and Javier created a really fun and safe atmosphere during the trip, they were knowledgable and super friendly and had great banter. The trip far exceeded our expectations as we werent really sure if rafting would be our thing but it was excellent! I'd suggest this is a must do while im the Arenal area, you'll see great nature on a beatiful river and loads of craic on the way.

  My daughter and I were ready for a sunny afternoon, crazy water ride and that’s exactly what we got. The bus ride to the water was comfortable and Gustavo, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and funny. There were lockers to stash all items because you could not bring any cameras or phones. However, the photo package was well worth the money. The images were so good at capturing it all. We saw incredible wildlife along the route and a nice treat at the end. Well worth it, and we’d do it again.

  Had a great day out doing the white water rafting. We were picked up very promptly at our hotel and taken to the river. Gerald was a fantastic guide ensuring that we were safe the whole time whilst also ensuring we were getting wet and having fun! We got to paddle through loads of fun rapids and we also got to swim/drift down the river. Fresh pineapple and watermelon was served at a break stop down the river then we had a tasty lunch afterwards at a local restaurant. We even had some sugar cane to chew on and some moonshine! A fun day out for couples and families.

  This tour was amazing! We had such a great time, the guides were all personable and funny, and we felt safe every step of the way. Daniel was our river guide and he was very knowledgeable about the rapids, how to have a great raft and everyone staying safe. The lunch was absolutely delicious and plentiful, along with the sugar cane and local fruit and produce presentation. We were able to taste the Costa Rica sugar cane rum, and truly enjoyed our day. They also picked up and dropped off at expected times which was nice as well.

  One of our most fun days in Costa Rica!!! Our guide Sevi made sure we were safe and had a blast going through the rio balsa! We had never been white water rafting before and didn’t know what to expect, but wow we can’t wait to be back! Our guides prepared a lovely fruit snack for us halfway down the river! Wonderful day and transfer to Manuel Antonio!

  Good afternoon, I wanted to write as well as leave a review on Trip Advisor. We had the best experience of a lifetime today. Daniel Peraza was our guide (actually for the trip and he was our guide in our raft). This guy is phenomenal!! The best!!! Without him and his planning I may not have made this trip. Last year I had a total right knee replacement and total right hip replacement. Both are great and I ride my horse 4 days a week but this trip and muscles you need to work are different. Daniel did everything he could to insure my comfort and safety to be able to enjoy this trip in your beautiful country. He was just incredible. His care and compassion for the guests was first rate. I can’t say enough good things about him. The company is organized and follows a schedule which I appreciated. Daniel and our driver Lorenzo were great with keep us all on track. Speaking of Lorenzo—he was quiet but very “present” and kind and happy greeting us and talking a bit. He had our safety as his priority!! I just can’t say enough. Because of your company, Daniel and Lorenzo— I just might try this again. My husband loves an adventure so we will be back and hopefully to be with our new friends Daniel and Lorenzo. BTW, the photographer was really talented and captured photos we never would have been able to get obviously. We appreciated him showing us the photos (which we purchased-all 81 of them) and look forward to these memories for years to come. Bravo!!!!   Awesome experience with a great team of professionals! Very well organized, secure and funny.. our guide tour Mario (Super Mario) was excellent, provided all the security, adrenaline and fun! Loved this rapids in Rio Balsa, incredible experience!
