Robert was fun and informative. Made the trip more entertaining and interesting. Learned much more about Ireland’s history.

What an amazing day (that produced some of our favorite trip photos)! Our tour guide (I believe his name was Richard) was fantastic and full of great information (bogs up in the mountains, who knew!!) and fun! Even after a slightly confusing start (the Dublin Marathon was that day and the van couldn't get to the pickup site), we ended up having a grand adventure. Powerscourt Estate was so beautiful (even on a rainy day), but the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough stole the show - stunning!! This tour is HIGHLY recommended!
-
Very scenic trip and excellent guide cum coach driver who was very knowledgeable. Coach timing was punctual.
-
Seeing the twin lake was an amazing experience.. The weather compliments its beauty and it is so lovely!
-
Beautiful tour, even in the cold. Only downside was much of the grounds at Powerscourt were cordoned off to avoid slipping on icy paths.
-
Guide was friendly, knowledgeable and stuck to timetable. Weather was a bit dicey but he only went places where it was safe to do so.
-
Enjoyed the trip and the fellow travelers--all much younger than my friend and I. Our guide--I think his name was Richard--was excellent. A great way to see a bit of the country if you are not renting a car!

Were Richard leading other tours, I'd sign up tomorrow even if I needed to fly back to Ireland. The day was a glorious mix of Irish sites, history, language, and humor. This was a small van tour which gave it a laid back and personalized character. We loved that the tour started after 9, allowed enough time to explore both Powerscourt Gardens and Glendalough, and included several shorter stops which gave us a sense of the Wicklow Mountains and their history. Thank you Richard and Hilltoptreks!
