Great visit to the salt mines. A wonderful, beautiful and immersive experience. Guide was well informed and the tour was well thought out. Unfortunately the guide in the group behind us got too close and we couldn’t hear. Noisy group of Slovakian senior school children wouldn’t take a telling. Definitely worth a guided visit!

Amazing world heritage site. Takes you down 130m - see the vast chambers dug out by the miners over hundreds of years. There’ a full size church in one, with carvings and statues. I got a minibus transfer from my hotel with Kaspar of Mr Shuttle. Very friendly and convenient. Guided tours available in many languages- slight grumble, not quite enough time to look at things at your own pace, as the guide always wants to move on.

Actually fantastic must see if you love history and heritage sites. It was luxury going with the tour but the actual talk is provided by the employee of the salt mine. So you could go on your own.

Very tirefull experience….” To much for nothing”…. 4 hours walking underground tour, a lot of stairs just to see some statues of salt…. The best of all the salle of church…. And at the end on more klm to reach the lift…..I don’t recommend it…

Booked trip via MrShuttle - included transfer from Hotel to Salt Mine. Journey time appx 1hr . Guided tour of 2.5 hrs excellent, Well worth the price paid. A must do if in Krakow for more than 3 days .
