Saul was our guide and did a great job of keeping us on track and providing clear expectations of the day and instructions so no one was ever late returning to the bus. He has great energy and gave some excellent introductions to each location while we were on the bus before arriving. Keep in mind that this is a jam packed day so be prepared to be a bit rushed. We got a thirty minute tour of Oxford then another 30 minutes to explore, 2 hours at Windsor, and a little over an hour at Stonehenge. But if you only have so much time and you like to get quantity in your sight seeing, this is an excellent option. They also made the wise executive decision to reverse our original schedule to help us avoid the crowds. I think if not for that we would have been even more rushed so well done there as well.

Soul the guide was great, but i just wished there was more time in windsor. Soul was very helpful with tips for the free time and explantions

  • 19-Aug-2023

It is too rush to for all schedules Not a good choice for traveling….. Guide is talking too much gossip issue in car, and less describe history information when we were at tourism

  • 19-Aug-2023

Great experience. Saul was very kind and he explained very interesting information about the places we visited. Delightful blazer aswell

I regret to say that the guided tour I experienced covering Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Oxford was an absolute disaster. The guide's (Saul's) demeanor was shockingly rude and disinterested, making the entire experience an exercise in patience. Their monotonous and uninspiring commentary turned fascinating historical sites into a bore. To make matters worse, the guide rushed us through each location, leaving no room to appreciate the grandeur of Stonehenge, the majesty of Windsor Castle, or the scholarly atmosphere of Oxford. Their lack of accommodation for the group's needs was truly disappointing. Overall, this tour was a waste of time and money, leaving me with a sour taste for these otherwise remarkable places. They barely pointed out anything interesting and was blabbering useless facts and totally boring trivia with even more insipid demeanour.

Mel was great! He was enthusiastic and gave great side tidbits about each of the sites. This was a nice overview of each area and encouraged us to visit again.

Fantastic time. Mel was funny, friendly, entertaining, and VERY knowledgeable. All around great value and great time. Sleep on the bus and wake for the good bits.

We booked this tour entitled Winsor Castle, Stonehenge, Oxford Tour 3 and a half months before the scheduled date. It was indeed one of the first plans we made as we were told it was a highlight of our once in a lifetime trip to England. We received confirmation that we were booked for the Eindsor Castle, Stonehenge, Oxford Tour. The morning we boarded the bus for our 11 hour tour day our guide announced that Windsor Castle is now CLOSED to guests on Tuesdsy and Wednesdays, so we would not be touring Windsor Castle bit would instead simple see the locked front gate. Several others on our motorcoach were greatly disappointed and surprised as well. If we had been given a heads up, brgore we left the US we would have rescheduled for a day when it is open. Se write a review expressing our disappointment, and Evan Evans, our Company responded that they wanted to make things right with us. They then provided their contact info. Back at home now, I took time to explain our circumstance via email, and they replied that there would be nothing done "to make things right." They stated that we had failed to purchase inside the Castle tickets after we purchased our $225 tickets for the "Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford tour." 😮 A number of folks that day had missed the fine details that the "Windsor Castle Tour" did not include touring Windsor Castle. 🙄 Alhough it is now an established fact that Windsor Castle is not open to touring on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the tour still goes by that name. A simple heads up from Viator or Evans and Evans would have spared a number of folks from investing one of their only full days in London, eleven hours on a motorcoach tour, and a couple hundred dollars to miss seeing the PRIMARY reason they traveled, lodged and booked that tour. 😥 They said publicly they wished to make things right but privately declined any reasonable opportunity to do so. Most disappointing frim a company so reputable. I write this with due respect to a fine tour guide and motorcoach operator who followed through on carrying us safely for 11 hours, smidst a greatly disappointing day. PS... They have since updated their website to say that Windsor Cadtle is closed to visitors on Tuesday and Wednesdays, but it still says generally you can purchase tickets to tour the castle the same day as you take the tour, in case ypu missed that detail when booking. Viator/ Evan Evans PLEASE change the name of the tour to "The Windsor Town, Stonehenge. Oxford Tour" on the days that the Castle is closed! It's the least you can do to avoid confusion and leave folks with a feeling of being misled. And please consider actually making things right with us as you said you desired to do. Respectfully, Two very disappointed travelers.
