Know More about this tour

Start your day trip at Victoria Coach Station to meet your guide and board the coach to Windsor Castle.

When you pull up outside the castle, an official residence of Queen Elizabeth II, head inside with your included ticket and audio guide to explore highlights like the State Apartments and St. Georges Chapel. Depending on timing, you might also be able to watch the guards, dressed in cherry red tunics and bearskins, performing the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony.

After roughly two hours, continue to Stonehenge, the mysterious, UNESCO World Heritage-listed stone circle set on the Salisbury Plain. During the audio tour, hear the theories behind the creation of this prehistoric site, as well as its association with Merlin and King Arthur.

Next, head for the honey-hued city of Oxford, home to Britains oldest and perhaps most prestigious university. Plug into your provided headset and follow in the footsteps of luminaries like J.R.R. Tolkien with a guided tour of the universitys famous buildings, including Christchurch College and the Bodleian Library.

When the time comes, journey back to London by coach, where your day trip ends at Victoria Coach Station.

  • Very busy for this time of year. Waited in line for over an hour with other very large tour groups just to enter and get tickets for Windsor, but once inside it was beautiful and fun to see where Prince Harry will get married. Again, waited in a long line to board a smaller bus to take us to the stones, very windy and cold but it is December. But again, once you walk up to the stones you are blown away. Because of the time of year, it was dark when we arrived to Oxford, didn't really get a sense of what this town offered. Carol, the tour guide was great, I loved her voice.

  • Worst viator we've ever been on. They claimed they didn't foresee the busy holiday. Complete load of garbage. Spent 3 quarters of our time on the coach or in line. Never been so rushed and we've done A LOT of organized tours. Did not get our money's worth. Operator just shrugged. Very bad form. Avoid!

  • Highly recommend this tour for a quick overview of Oxford, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. I thought there was plenty of time in Stonehenge. We will be returning to Oxford and Windsor again. Our tour guide, Charlotte, was very informative.

  • guide was wonderful. she was full of information and shared all of her knowledge with us. she was pleasant, jolly and was always willing to answer questions. she knew when to speak and when to let people absorb the sights.

  • Bad timing for us, doing the tour when England has it's first snow for the year! Windsor castle was closed without warning due to safety and not being able to get people to work. Stonehenge was closed also but luckily it opened soon after we arrived. Oxford was nice, and the walking tour gave some good information too. You don't have much time in each place though, and it takes about 1.5 hours of travelling between each place, so I think it's too much for one day if each of them are open.
We got a partial refund of the Windsor Castle entry price after I requested it, so at least that was good of the travel company.

  • A great day. Rhys our guide was very knowledgeable. Thomas our Driver was also lovely. Timing at each was good although as explained, this is just a snippet of Windsor Castle and Oxford, you could easily spend much more time here.

  • Kevin was a great guide for this trip. Windsor was well worth the trip and Stonehenge was amazing. The audio guide from the tour agency for Stonehenge was very informational.

  • Guide awesome, dropped off at hotel

  • This tour was OK but our tour guide Rowen was fantastic!. Rowen did everything she could to squeeze as much time for us at the stop points as she could. She gave us as much time as she could at Windsor Castle but it was not enough. The reason for the four stars is the limited time we were given in the castle, Tour companies have their own entrances and security checkpoints separate from the public entrance and security, Even with these measures in place it took over an hour to get through security which cut down on the time we were able to spend at Windsor Castle which was about 2.5 hours. Again as with every tour you need to understand there is only a window of time to spend at each stop. Oxford and Stonehenge were wonderful to see and just enough time spent at both. The tour company was very good as well, Comfortable motor coach and easy to locate in Victoria Coach Station.

  • We were lucky enough to go on a day when the Queen was in resident, even though we didn't see her. The reason I say lucky is because the flag changes to signal if she's there or not. You're allowed to tour Windsor Castle at your own pace, just be back at the bus by a certain time which I appreciated. Stonehenge was the same our guide Danny would give us a quick history, hand us an interactive map and give us tour tickets. After that, you're on your own to tour Stonehenge.

Was a bit disappointed with the Oxford tour. I wanted to see more buildings as well as entering some of them. Nevertheless it was a wonderful experience.
