  • Great Tour! Windsor was a wonderful town, we had tea but could have stayed there for lunch. The guide from London was excellent! Fun, knowledgeable and completely professional. We did the half day tour and the driver who took us back from London was personable and very accommodating - dropped us off at the pub for lunch. Lunch was delightful. It was a great family outing - and the pace gave everyone time to see what they wanted. Thank you!!

  • Good value

  • Good tour...........lots of history..........did not go to the place for lunch that was told. You could only have fish and chips and that's what we had the day before.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • It was extremely crowded with long entry lines. The castle was interesting but since the Queen was in residence we were unable to see everything normally included. The lunch was decent with very friendly service. We visited the end of June so maybe we just picked the wrong time to visit.

  • The bus was very nice. Tour guide was knowledgeable and chatted along the way. Everything ran on time!! Well done.

  • Great to see. A bit rushed for time after lining up in the queue for so long.

  • Tour was very good and tour guide Nick exceptional in his knowledge. My only criticism is that I had booked the tour with hotel pick up and when my hotel phoned Premium to check the pick up time we were advised they no longer do hotel pick ups. No one from Viator had informed me of this although they kept sending emails reminding me to print my voucher. I could still be standing outside my hotel if I hadn't checked the day before. We had to get to Victoria coach station to get on the tour bus.

  • We greatly enjoyed our tour to Windsor Castle and the lunch back in London. Our guide was very funny and made it very clear where and when we should meet the bus. He suggested doing the state rooms first and that was a great plan. We ran out of time to do everything but we were quite pleased with the day. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

  • Windsor Castle with Lunch Tour:

This tour is NOT recommended with respect to how it was advertised. The description included touring the castle with time to browse the 'quaint' shops adjacent to the grounds. This was very inaccurate. The tour length should have been extended by at least one hour to allow for the queue wait time for entry, as well as passing through security total time of about 1 hour. Thus, our time was rushed. Not only was there not enough time to view the castle grounds, there was absolutely no time to explore the shops.

The lunch was described as a fish-and-chips lunch in the Tea Clipper pub near another great English institution: Harrods department store. This location was switched, without our knowledge, I'm sure well within the tour contractural guidelines, however, to a pub no where near the Harrod's/Knightsbridge area. Internet research revealed that the original restaurant chosen is closed. Yet it is STILL listed as the lunch location, on the Viator web-site description.

Though the meal was fine, one of the reasons we chose this tour was to end up near Harrod's and spend time in that area. It turned out to be a 25 - 30 minute walk with the assistance of our iPhone GPS. Viator and/or the tour operator should have informed us of this change prior to the tour and offered the option to change tours or offer a refund.

I would be hesitant to trust any Premier Tours descriptions/tours.
