After Knossos, we drive to a vineyard for a sampling of sixCretan wines. Taste two white, one rose, two red, and one dessert wine. Wine tasting is accompanied with cheese, paximadia (hard Cretan bread), marmelade, season fruit, and nuts. Lunch of souvlaki (chicken or pork), Greek salad, tzatziki, bread and more wine is also included.
We end our day with avisit to a traditional ceramic pottery. The owner will show us the process, and then we'll have a chance to make some ourselves.
