  • El guía Raúl EXCELENTE!!!!

  • The BEST tour I have ever done. Cannot recommend enough.

We plan on returning to Madrid just to bring family and friends along so they can experience it too!

Great guide, wine, food and sights.

  • Absolutely amazing! we got to sample some excellent wines with the owner on the second vineyard and had an amazing lunch at the first one. Our guide was very informative and even gave us great tips on other things to do during our stay. We highly recommend this trip

  • David was an absolutely wonderful tour guide, and as no one else had booked the tour, it ended up bring a private tour experience for my husband and me. I appreciated that pick up was close to where we were staying and very timely. David was very knowledgeable about the wines, and I really enjoyed both wineries we went to. The first was very modern with a nice open air BBQ area, a fantastic inside restaurant, and a nice tasting room. The wines were delicious and if you've never been to Spain, be prepared for how CHEAP the wine is! We bought a few bottles from the vineyard and they are only around 4-7 Euro each. The second winery was my favorite. I felt like we were going to someone's home and we had a very nice time learning about the process of making wine in clay pots, and sat on the patio and enjoyed each other's company. It felt like I was with old friends. I highly recommend this tour.

  • Can not say enough good things about this amazing tour. We actually had friends who took this tour a year before my group and they had raved about it - and they did not exaggerate about how wonderful the experience ended up being. Our guide, David, was knowledgeable and professional while also just a lot of fun to be around through the day. The two wineries we visited were fantastic and it was so interesting meeting with and talking to the winemakers. The lunch far exceeded our expectations - we could not believe how much food we were served and every bit of it was absolutely delicious, as were the wines we enjoyed through the meal. Almost every day since returning from Madrid, my friends and I constantly talk to each other and say how much we wish we were back wine tasting on this day! Do yourself a favor, if you're visiting Madrid, take this tour!

  • What can I say, this was a perfect day! Raul was an exceptional tour guide and so knowledgable of Madrid and the wine from the regions. We started off in a beautiful winery exploring the grounds and how they produced the wine followed by a how to of wine tasting. This was fascinating and Raul was brilliant at explaining the different wines we were tasting. We then went to the restaurant for a 3 course meal and wine over looking the vineyard which was some of the best food we had in Madrid. To then contrast this we were taken to a small traditional winery which was wonderful. We were greeted by Ismael who was so friendly and able to give us a great tour of the traditional production of how they make their wine. We then tried some lovely wines and olive oil that they produce. Ismael and Raul were able to suggest some great places for us to see and visit for the rest of our time in Madrid which was a big help. I could not recommend Raul enough, it was by far the highlight of our trip and would not hesitate to book again with Raul on our next visit.

  • We had such an incredible experience on this wine tour it was, by far, our favorite day of our trip to Spain. We learned so much about the history of Spanish wine and about the local Madrid region. All of this was due to our friendly, kind, funny, and, importantly, knowledgeable guide, Raul. Words can't express our gratitude for his time and efforts to make our tour the best it could be. We've been on wine tours throughout the world, and this tour from Raul was, hands down, the best. Of course, the wine was terrific, as well!

Our only regret was not inquiring about buying wine in the first winery. We were having such a great time at lunch after the first tour, we forgot to ask! It is not like America where everywhere turns into a gift shop afterwards, so I would recommend inquiring about making a purchase if you want to take some home with you. We look forward to taking another tour with Raul or with this company next time we are in Spain!

  • Raul was our guide for this trip. Due to traveling in the shoulder/off season, we had the tour to ourselves and it was fantastic. Raul is so knowledgeable about Spanish wines, winemaking, grapes, and more! He was also super friendly, and we had great conversations about wine and travel. We'll be recommending him and his tours to all of our friends and family and definitely looking him up again on our next trip to Spain.

  • Raul was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about the area and the winemaking process. I highly recommend this tour

  • Raul was an incredible tour guide and we had a great experience. This was a great way to spend a day, perfectly paced so that we got to see some places outside of Madrid and sample some wines from local vineyards. Worth the price, particularly given that it ended up only being the three of us and the guide.
