08:00 A.M. pick up from your hotel. Start your full day sightseeing by driving through the colonial style building downtown, as well as Chinatown, the Indian quarter.
Photo stop at Yangon City Hall.
Photo stop at Yangon City Hall & the Sule Pagoda with its golden chedi – a useful landmark in downtown Yangon.
Then, take a walk along Yangon River to see the busy harbor area, from where ferries leave for Pathein in the Delta and for upcountry towns along the Ayeyarwady River and Botathaung Pagoda, said to contain Buddha relics.
You can make a short visit to 100 years old Strand Hotel (if requested).
Enjoy your lunch at local Restaurant.
Visit Bogyoke (Scott) Market (closed on Mondays and Public Holidays) gives you the opportunity to see Myanmar's wide range of handicrafts.
Visit National Museum (closed on Mondays and Public Holidays) with an 8-meter-high Golden Lion Throne and Mandalay Royal Regalia.
Then, proceed to the magnificent Reclining Buddha Image at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda.

As you will be visiting religious sites, please wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees, and remember to take off your shoes and socks when entering pagoda areas.

Please note the Bogyoke Market and National Museum are closed on Mondays and public holidays.

This tour is not available during the Water Festival period between 12 to 18 Apr. During this time, everything in town is closed: restaurants, shops, markets, Museum, etc. Driving through Yangon is extremely difficult if not impossible because people celebrate the famous water-festival. You cannot avoid of getting very wet because everyone throws water at everybody. People drive through the city in open cars and there are stages along the street where people throw water. Everybody going up will get very wet.
