From the forest, you can head to the Agung Rai Museum of Art or attend an event at Bali Classic Centre that is located close to the forest. In addition to this, the best experience of this place comes when you gorge on the Balinese seafood. There are some restaurants like Bebek Bengil that are best known for it. However, for the authentic and rustic experience, you can head to the Jimbaran Seafood stalls. There are over 40 stalls selling delicious seafood here.

Since you are in the locality of Ubud, you can start your art tour from the same location. And, what could be better to start with the rice terraces! The paddy fields of Bali are an amalgamation of natural and man-made beauties. Take a 15 minutes’ drive from Ubud and reach Tegallalang to get yourself clicked among the rice terraces.

After some rejuvenating moments, it’s time to buy some local crafts. Bali is known for its antique jewelry, furniture, wooden carvings, hand-made masks, and many other handicrafts. The Ubud Art Market is a famous spot for buying these. However, you can also head to Sukawati Art Market, Kuta Art Market, and Tegallalang Handicrafts to enhance your search. You will forget all the tiredness of shopping when you come back to the Ubud Palace to enjoy a theatrical performance.

Day 3: Time to see the Volcano

Well, this is what most of the people are in Bali for- to see one of the active volcanoes on earth, Mount Batur. Located on the north west of Mount Agung, Mount Batur has an elevation of 1717 meters. The first eruption was witnessed in 1804 while the last one was in 2000. Amidst the mountainous area, there is Lake Batur, which has been constructed inside the inner caldera. There are four small villages in the caldera that you can visit for a rustic experience.
